Description

Housing assembly and method for manufacturing the housing assembly

[0001] The present invention relates to a housing assembly and a method for manufacturing a housing assembly.

[0002] In the brake systems of vehicles such as motorcycles and automobiles, there are known brake fluid pressure control devices that control the brake fluid pressure applied to wheel brakes. One such vehicle brake fluid pressure control device includes a housing assembly (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The housing assembly includes a metal base body having a brake fluid passage formed therein and a resin housing fixed to one surface of the base body with screws. The housing has an insertion hole for inserting a screw. A metal bushing is disposed in the insertion hole to increase the tightening torque of the screw.

[0003] On the other hand, an adhesive may be interposed between the base and the housing. In this housing assembly, the adhesive can provide an airtight seal between the base and the housing. In this housing assembly, it is also assumed that a metal bushing will be placed in the insertion hole for inserting the screw.

[0004] JP 2011-230656 A

[0005] The housing assembly of Patent Document 1 requires a step of insert-molding a bush into the housing during the manufacturing process. If the housing assembly were manufactured without the bush, there is a risk that the screws may loosen due to creep or the like. Therefore, eliminating the bush poses challenges.

[0006] The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems and provides a housing assembly and a method for manufacturing the housing assembly that can ensure the adhesion and sealing performance of the housing and prevent screws from falling off.

[0007] In order to solve the above problem, the housing assembly of the present invention has a housing fixed to one surface of a base with a screw. The housing includes a housing main body that forms a storage portion. The housing is fixed with an adhesive having a sealing function that is interposed at the contact point between the housing main body and the base. A screw hole into which the screw is threaded is formed on one surface of the base. The adhesive is interposed between the screw and the screw hole.

[0008] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the manufacturing method of the housing assembly of the present invention includes a step of applying an adhesive having a sealing function to a contact point between the housing body and the one surface of a base and the screw hole, and a step of contacting the housing body with the adhesive applied to the contact point and threading the screw into the screw hole to fix the housing.

[0009] According to the housing assembly and the manufacturing method of the housing assembly of the present invention, the adhesion and sealing performance of the housing can be ensured, and the screws can be prevented from falling off.

[0010] Fig. 1 is a side cross-sectional view showing a housing assembly according to a first embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view showing the housing assembly; Fig. 3 is a front view showing one surface of a base body to which the housing is fixed; Fig. 4 is a rear view showing the fixing surface of the housing; Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing a main part of the housing assembly along a screw hole; Figs. 1(a) to 1(c) are cross-sectional views showing how the housing is fixed to the base body; Fig. 5 is a front view showing one surface of a base body provided in a housing assembly according to a second embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 6 is a rear view showing the fixing surface of the housing.

[0011] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, when referring to the "front and rear" and "top and bottom" of the housing assembly, the directions shown in Fig. 1 are used as references, and when referring to the "left and right" of the housing assembly, the directions shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 are used as references. However, this is not intended to limit the assembly direction of the coil assembly relative to a vehicle or the like.

[0012] In this embodiment, the housing assembly is applied to a vehicle with two brake systems, such as a two- or three-wheeled motor vehicle with a handlebar, but the housing assembly may also be applied to a brake fluid pressure control device for a four-wheeled vehicle.

[0013] (Configuration of the Housing Assembly) The housing assembly U is connected between a master cylinder (not shown) and wheel brakes to control the brake fluid pressure acting on the wheel brakes. As shown in FIG. 1 , the housing assembly U includes a base 100 to which are mounted solenoid valves V1 and V2, a motor M, a reciprocating pump P, and other components corresponding to two brake systems. The housing assembly U includes a housing 200 equipped with a control board 201 (see FIG. 1 ) that detects vehicle body behavior and controls the opening and closing of the solenoid valves V1 and V2 and the operation of the motor M. In addition to the solenoid valves V1 and V2, various sensors such as pressure sensors can also be mounted on the base 100. A brake fluid passage (oil passage) (not shown) is formed within the base 100. The housing assembly U is configured so that the control board 201 operates the solenoid valves V1 and V2 and the motor M based on the vehicle body behavior, thereby varying the brake fluid pressure in the brake fluid passage.

[0014] (Configuration of Base) The base 100 is a metal part formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape (see FIG. 2 ), and a brake fluid passage (oil passage), not shown, is formed therein. Of the surfaces of the base 100, a front surface 101 is formed with a plurality of bottomed mounting holes 110 into which the solenoid valves V1 and V2 are attached. The number of solenoid valves V1 and V2 used varies depending on, for example, whether the target vehicle is a four-wheeled vehicle or the functions of the housing assembly U. In this embodiment, a coil assembly 1 serving as an electrical component is fitted to each of the solenoid valves V1 and V2. The solenoid valve V1 is, for example, a normally-open solenoid valve. The solenoid valve V2 is, for example, a normally-closed solenoid valve. As shown in FIG. 1 , each coil assembly 1 is electrically connected to a control board 201 within the housing 200 using press-fit terminals 10 serving as connection terminals.

[0015] As shown in FIG. 2 , the front surface 101 is formed with insertion holes 115 through which a motor bus bar (not shown) of the motor M is inserted. The motor bus bar is inserted into the insertion hole 115 of the base 100 and electrically connected to the control board 201 (see FIG. 1 ; the same applies below) through a bus bar terminal portion 230 of the housing 200 (see FIGS. 2 and 4 ). Press-fit terminals (not shown) are connected to the bus bar terminal portion 230 so as to protrude forward. The motor bus bar connected to the bus bar terminal portion 230 is electrically connected to the control board 201 via the press-fit terminals. The peripheral edge of the bus bar terminal portion 230 can abut against the front surface 101 of the base 100 and functions as an electrical component adhesion margin S3 (see FIG. 4 ) for fixing the housing 200 with adhesive G.

[0016] 2 and 3, a screw hole 116 is formed in the front surface 101 for fixing the housing 200 to the base body 100. As shown in Fig. 5, a fixing screw 50 is threaded into the screw hole 116. In this embodiment, the screw 50 is threaded into the screw hole 116 via an adhesive G, as will be described later.

[0017] 3, adhesive G is applied to the front surface 101 of the base 100. The adhesive G is applied to an area indicated by an annular hatched line S11 on the periphery of the front surface 101 and to areas indicated by linear hatched lines S21 on both sides of the solenoid valves V1 and V2. Furthermore, adhesive G is applied to an area indicated by a linear hatched line S22 that intersects with the screw hole 116 and to an area indicated by a circular hatched line S23 on the periphery of the insertion hole 115.

[0018] At the left edge of the front face 101, the hatching lines S21, S21 on the left sides of the solenoid valves V1, V2 are connected to the hatching line S22. Similarly, at the right edge of the front face 101, the hatching lines S21, S21 on the right sides of the solenoid valves V1, V2 are connected to the hatching line S22. Each hatching line S22 extends so as to cross the center of the screw hole 116 in the diametric direction. In other words, each hatching line S22 is applied so as to cover a portion of the screw hole 116. The hatching line S11 is located in a position corresponding to a circumferential groove 228 (see FIG. 4 ) of the housing 200, which will be described later. The hatching line S21 is located in a position corresponding to a rib 25 of the coil assembly 1, which will be described later. The hatching line S23 is located in a position corresponding to the peripheral edge of the bus bar terminal portion 230.

[0019] The adhesive G has a sealing function and has the property of hardening into an elastic body after application. That is, the adhesive G hardens in an elastic (cushioning) state. As the adhesive G, for example, a silicone-based adhesive can be used.

[0020] As shown in Fig. 2, an inlet port 111 and an outlet port 112 are formed on an upper surface 103 of the base 100, to which piping leading to wheel brakes (not shown) is connected. A reservoir hole is formed on a lower surface of the base 100, to which reservoir components (not shown) that form a reservoir are attached. A pump hole 113 is formed on a side surface 104 of the base 100, to which a reciprocating pump P is attached. The holes related to brake fluid control provided in the base 100 communicate with each other directly or via brake fluid paths (not shown) formed inside the base 100.

[0021] The motor M is an electric component that serves as a power source for the reciprocating pump P. The motor M is integrally fixed to the rear surface 102 (see FIG. 1 ), which is the other surface of the base body 100. The motor M drives the reciprocating pump P.

[0022] 1, the housing 200 is a box-shaped body that is fixed integrally to the front surface 101 of the base body 100 while covering the solenoid valves V1, V2, etc. that protrude from the front surface 101 of the base body 100. The housing 200 is adhered to the front surface 101 with an adhesive G, and is fixed to the base body 100 with two screws 50 (see FIG. 5).

[0023] The housing 200 includes a housing main body 202 and a lid 203. The housing main body 202 and the lid 203 are formed of a resin material. The space surrounded by the housing main body 202 and the lid 203 forms an accommodating section 200a. The accommodating section 200a accommodates a coil assembly 1 and a control board 201 as electrical components. The coil assembly 1 is fixed to the inner surface of the housing main body 202 by press-fitting, as described below. The housing main body 202 is open on both the front side opposite the base 100 side and the rear side facing the base 100 side.

[0024] As shown in FIG. 2 , the housing main body 202 includes a plate-shaped bottom 210, a first peripheral wall 211 provided on the front side of the bottom 210, and a second peripheral wall 212 provided on the rear side of the bottom 210. A connector 229 is provided on the side of the housing main body 202. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4 , the bottom 210 has a substantially rectangular outer shape. As shown in FIG. 2 , the first peripheral wall 211 extends forward from the peripheral edge of the bottom 210 and has a substantially square outer periphery. The first peripheral wall 211 forms a first storage chamber 215 (see FIG. 1 ). The first storage chamber 215 accommodates a substantially square-shaped control board 201 (see FIG. 1 ).

[0025] The second peripheral wall portion 212 extends rearward from the rear surface of the bottom portion 210 and has a generally octagonal outer periphery. The second peripheral wall portion 212 forms a second storage chamber 216 (see FIG. 1 ). Four coil assemblies 1 are housed in the second storage chamber 216. As shown in FIG. 1 , the first storage chamber 215 and the second storage chamber 216 are interconnected. That is, no partition wall exists between the first storage chamber 215 and the second storage chamber 216. By adopting such a partition-free structure in the housing 200, the coil assemblies 1 are disposed across the second storage chamber 216 and the first storage chamber 215, as shown in FIG. 1 . This allows the housing 200 to be compact in the front-to-rear direction while still being able to accommodate the coil assemblies 1 appropriately. As shown in FIG. 6( a ), a protrusion 218 is formed on the lower end of the second peripheral wall portion 212 , which is adapted to engage with a positioning hole 117 formed in the front surface 101 of the base body 100 .

[0026] As shown in Fig. 2, an uneven retaining wall 220 is formed on the inner surface of the second peripheral wall portion 212. The retaining wall 220 includes boss portions 221 that protrude to the left and right inside of the second accommodating chamber 216, terminal boss portions 222 that protrude to the upper inside, and retaining portions 223 that protrude to the lower inside. A total of four mounting spaces 225 in which the coil assembly 1 can be mounted are formed on the inner surface of the retaining wall 220, between adjacent boss portions 221 and terminal boss portions 222, and between adjacent boss portions 221 and retaining portions 223. The inner surface shape of the retaining wall 220 in each mounting space 225 is the same and is formed to fit the outer surface shape of the coil assembly 1.

[0027] A pair of grooves 226 are recessed into the opening edge of each mounting space 225 to position and fix the coil assembly 1 within the mounting space 225. In each mounting space 225, the grooves 226 are formed in opposing positions of the opposing retaining walls 220. Reinforcing ribs 227 are formed on the inner surfaces of the retaining walls 220.

[0028] The left and right boss portions 221 are each formed with a screw insertion hole 224. A screw 50 (see FIG. 5) for fixing the housing 200 to the base 100 is inserted into each screw insertion hole 224. Each screw insertion hole 224 is configured without a fixing bushing. In other words, the material of the housing main body 202 (resin material in this embodiment) is exposed on the inner surface and opening edge of the screw insertion hole 224.

[0029] 2 and 4, a circumferential groove 228 is formed at the rear end of the second circumferential wall portion 212. The circumferential groove 228 functions as a housing adhesive margin S1 (see FIG. 4) for fixing the housing 200 with adhesive G. The housing adhesive margin S1 is provided with adhesive G (see FIGS. 2 and 3) in an area indicated by hatched lines S11 (see FIGS. 2 and 3) on the front surface 101 of the base body 100. The housing 200 is adhered to the front surface 101 of the base body 100 via the adhesive G in the housing adhesive margin S1, and is airtightly sealed.

[0030] As shown in FIG. 1 , the control board 201 has a plurality of through-holes 201a formed therein. The press-fit terminals 10 of the coil assembly 1 are pressure-welded into the through-holes 201a. The control board 201 is a substantially rectangular board body on which an electrical circuit is printed, and electronic components such as semiconductor chips are attached. The control board 201 performs control based on information obtained from sensors (not shown) and other components provided in the vehicle and pre-stored programs. Specifically, the control board 201 controls the supply of current to the coil assembly 1 (see FIG. 2 ) and the motor M to control the opening and closing of the solenoid valves V1 and V2 and the driving of the motor M. Other examples of sensors include angular velocity sensors and acceleration sensors. Note that, when assembling the control board 201A, other terminals (not shown) can also be connected at the same time.

[0031] The lid 203 seals the opening at the front side of the housing 200, which is the side opposite to the base 100. The lid 203 is fixed to the front end surface of the housing 200 by means of welding, adhesive, screw fastening, or the like.

[0032] As shown in Fig. 2, the coil assembly 1 includes a bobbin 2, a yoke 3, a coil 5, and a press-fit terminal 10 serving as a connection terminal. As shown in Fig. 1, the coil assembly 1 is an electrical component housed within the peripheral wall portion 202, surrounding the solenoid valves V1 and V2. The coil assembly 1 is an electromagnetic coil that generates a magnetic field around each of the solenoid valves V1 and V2 when electricity is applied to the coil 5 from the control board 201 via the press-fit terminal 10.

[0033] The rear end of the bobbin 2 is provided with ribs 25 that protrude laterally. The ribs 25 function as fitting portions (positioning portions) when the coil assembly 1 is assembled into the second accommodating chamber 216 of the housing 200. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 2 , the ribs 25 are press-fitted into grooves 226 that are formed in an attachment space 225 of the second accommodating chamber 216. This press-fit restricts the movement of the coil assembly 1 in a direction intersecting the assembly direction relative to the housing 200 and rotation around an axis parallel to the assembly direction.

[0034] Meanwhile, the rib 25 also functions as an electric component adhesion margin S2 (see FIG. 4 ) for fixing the coil assembly 1 to the front surface 101 of the base 100 with adhesive G. Specifically, the lower surface 25 a of the rib 25 is disposed flush with the rear surface of the retaining wall 220 when the rib 25 is press-fitted into the groove 226. As a result, the lower surface of the rib 25 faces the front surface 101 of the base 100 and functions as the electric component adhesion margin S2.

[0035] The press-fit terminals 10 protrude from the bobbin 2 located at the end of the yoke 3 opposite the base body 100. Ends of the windings (not shown) of the coil 5 are electrically connected to the press-fit terminals 10. The tip of the press-fit terminal 10 bulges out in an annular shape and is pressed into a through-hole 201a (see FIG. 1) of the control board 201 (see FIG. 1).

[0036] (Method of Manufacturing Housing Assembly) The method of manufacturing the housing assembly U includes an application step of applying adhesive G to the front surface 101 of the base 100, and a fixing step of fixing the housing 200 to the base 100. The application step also includes an electrical component application step for fixing the coil assembly 1 housed in the housing 200 to the front surface 101 of the base 100. In the electrical component application step, adhesive G is applied to the front surface 101 of the base 100 at abutment locations where the lower surfaces 25a of the ribs 25 of the coil assembly 1 abut. By applying adhesive G to the lower surfaces 25a of the ribs 25, the coil assembly 1 is directly fixed to the base 100 with adhesive G when fixing the housing 200 to the base 100.

[0037] 3 , in the application step, adhesive G is applied to all of the areas indicated by hatching lines S11, S21, S22, and S23 on the front surface 101 of the base 100. That is, adhesive G is applied to the contact points on the front surface 101 of the base 100 with the circumferential groove 228 of the second peripheral wall portion 212, the contact points with the lower surface 25a of the rib 25, the contact points with the peripheral edge of the bus bar terminal portion 230, and the screw holes 116. During application, at the left edge of the front surface 101, application of one hatching line S21 is followed by application of the area indicated by the hatching line S22, then application of the area indicated by the other hatching line S21, and finally application of the area indicated by the hatching line S23 on the upper center of the front surface 101. That is, at the left edge of the front surface 101, application of the areas indicated by the hatching lines S21, S22, and S21 is performed in order, as if drawn in a single stroke. The adhesive G is continuously applied in this manner to the right edge of the front surface 101 as well, thereby achieving efficient application.

[0038] In the fixing step, the rear end of the housing 200 is brought into contact with the front surface 101 of the base 100, and the screws 50 are threaded into the screw holes 116 to fix the housing 200 to the base 100. When bringing the housing 200 into contact, the housing 200 is brought close to the front surface 101 of the base 100, and the rear end of the housing 200 is brought into contact with the front surface 101 of the base 100 while the coil assemblies 1 are fitted onto the solenoid valves V1, V2 protruding from the front surface 101. As a result, the circumferential groove 228 of the housing 200, the coil assemblies 1, and the bus bar terminal portions 230 are bonded to the front surface 101 of the base 100 by the adhesive G interposed between the base 100 and the housing bonding margins S1 and the electrical component bonding margins S2, S3.

[0039] Here, as shown in Fig. 6(a), the adhesive G in the region indicated by the hatched line S22 on the front surface 101 of the base 100 is applied so as to span the opening of the screw hole 116. As a result, when the housing 200 is brought into contact, as shown in Fig. 6(b), the adhesive G straddles the screw insertion hole 224 of the second peripheral wall portion 212 of the housing 200 and the screw hole 116 of the base 100, or the adhesive G has entered the screw insertion hole 224.

[0040] Thereafter, when the screw 50 is inserted through the screw insertion hole 224 from the opening on the front side of the housing 200, as shown in FIG. 6C , the threaded portion of the screw 50 passes through the adhesive G on or inside the screw insertion hole 224, causing the adhesive G to adhere to the threaded portion. This allows the screw 50 to be tightened with the adhesive G interposed between the screw hole 116 and the screw 50. When the housing 200 is abutted, the adhesive G also spreads favorably to the opening edge 116a of the screw hole 116, so that the adhesive G is interposed from the opening edge of the screw hole 116 to the inside of the screw hole 116. This achieves a strong fixation. After the screw 50 is tightened, the adhesive G hardens between the screw 50 and the screw hole 116, providing a loosening prevention function.

[0041] According to the housing assembly U of this embodiment described above, the housing 200 and the base 100 can be airtightly sealed together by the adhesive G having a sealing function, and the screws 50 can be adhesively fixed to the screw holes 116 using the adhesive G. This makes it possible to prevent the screws 50 from loosening without requiring additional costs, additional processes, or special management. Therefore, according to the housing assembly U of this embodiment, the adhesive and sealing performance of the housing 200 can be ensured, and the screws 50 can be prevented from falling off.

[0042] Furthermore, because the adhesive G hardens in an elastic state, the sealing performance between the housing 200 and the base 100 is improved. The elastic adhesive G also serves to reduce external forces such as vibrations when they are input to the housing 200 or the coil assembly 1. In particular, in bar-handle vehicles such as two- and three-wheeled motor vehicles, the housing assembly U is subject to strong vibrations from the behavior of the vehicle and the engine or other prime mover, so the toughness against vibrations is improved.

[0043] Furthermore, the coil assembly 1 accommodated in the housing 200 is fixed to the front surface 101 of the base 100 with adhesive G when the housing 200 is fixed to the base 100, so that the coil assembly 1 can be easily fixed to the front surface 101 of the base 100 without requiring additional costs, additional processes, or special management.

[0044] Furthermore, according to the manufacturing method of the housing assembly U of this embodiment, the housing 200 and the base 100 can be airtightly sealed together by the adhesive G having a sealing function, and the screws 50 can be adhesively fixed to the screw holes 116 using the adhesive G. This makes it possible to prevent the screws 50 from loosening without requiring additional costs, additional processes, or special management.

[0045] Second Embodiment Next, a housing assembly and a method for manufacturing the housing assembly according to a second embodiment will be described. Fig. 7 is a front view showing one surface of a base body provided in the housing assembly according to the second embodiment of the present invention, and Fig. 8 is a rear view showing the fixing surface of the housing. In this embodiment, an example in which the housing assembly is applied to a housing assembly for a motorcycle having one brake system will be described. Of course, the present embodiment may also be applied to a housing assembly for a motorcycle having two brake systems or a housing assembly for a four-wheeled vehicle. Note that parts similar to those in the first embodiment will be designated by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof will be omitted.

[0046] As shown in Fig. 7, the housing assembly U of this embodiment is provided with solenoid valves V1 and V2 that constitute one brake system and a motor M that drives a pump (not shown) for a base 100A that constitutes the housing assembly U. Meanwhile, as shown in Fig. 8, the housing 200A that constitutes the housing assembly U has two coil assemblies 1 that are fitted onto the solenoid valves V1 and V2 (see Fig. 7) housed in a second housing chamber 216A within a housing main body 202A. Each coil assembly 1 is electrically connected to a control board 201 (not shown) using press-fit terminals 10, as in the first embodiment.

[0047] (Configuration of Base) As shown in FIG. 7, the base 100A is a metal part formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape. A brake fluid passage (oil passage), not shown, is formed inside the base 100A. One of the faces of the base 100A, the front face 101A, is formed with a bottomed mounting hole 110 for mounting the solenoid valves V1 and V2, and a bottomed mounting hole (not shown) for mounting the motor M. In other words, the front face 101A of the base 100A collectively forms the mounting holes for the solenoid valves V1 and V2 and the motor M. A coil assembly 1 (see FIG. 8) serving as an electrical component is fitted onto the solenoid valves V1 and V2, respectively. The motor bus bar M11 is provided at the bottom of the cover of the motor M.

[0048] As in the first embodiment, screw holes 116 for fixing the housing 200A (see FIG. 8) to the base body 100A are formed in the front surface 101A of the base body 100A. In this embodiment, screws 50 (not shown, the same applies below) are threaded into the screw holes 116 via adhesive G.

[0049] Adhesive G is applied to the front surface 101A of the base 100A. The adhesive G is applied to the area indicated by the annular hatching line S11 on the periphery of the front surface 101A, the areas indicated by the linear hatching lines S21 on both sides of the solenoid valves V1 and V2, and the areas indicated by the linear hatching lines S24 intersecting the screw holes 116. At the upper edge of the front surface 101, the hatching line S21 on the upper side of the solenoid valve V1 is connected to the hatching line S24. Similarly, at the lower edge of the front surface 101A, the hatching line S21 on the lower side of the solenoid valve V2 is connected to the hatching line S24. Each hatching line S24 extends across the center of the screw holes 116 in the diametric direction. In other words, each hatching line S24 is applied so as to cover a portion of the screw holes 116. The hatching line S11 is located at a position corresponding to the circumferential groove 228A (see FIG. 8) of the housing 200A (see FIG. 8), and the hatching line S21 is located at a position corresponding to the lower surface 25a of the rib 25 of the coil assembly 1A.

[0050] (Method of Manufacturing Housing Assembly) The method of manufacturing the housing assembly U in this embodiment also includes a coating step and a fixing step. The coating step includes an electric component coating step. In the coating step, as shown in FIG. 7 , adhesive G is applied to all of the areas indicated by hatching lines S11, S21, and S24 on the front surface 101A of the base 100A. During coating, adhesive G is applied to the area indicated by hatching line S24 at the upper and lower edges of the front surface 101, immediately following the application of adhesive G to one hatching line S21. This allows for efficient coating.

[0051] In the fixing step, the rear end of the housing 200A is brought into contact with the front surface 101A of the base 100A, and the screws 50 are threaded into the screw holes 116 to fix the housing 200A to the base 100A. As a result, the housing 200A and each coil assembly 1 are bonded to the front surface 101A of the base 100A by the adhesive G interposed between the base 100A and the housing bonding area S1 and the electrical component bonding area S2.

[0052] In this embodiment, too, the adhesive G in the region indicated by the hatched line S24 is applied across the opening of the screw hole 116. As a result, when the housing 200 is abutted, the adhesive G straddles the screw insertion hole 224 of the second peripheral wall portion 212A of the housing 200 and the screw hole 116 of the base 100A, or the adhesive G enters the screw insertion hole 224. When the screw 50 is inserted, the threaded portion of the screw 50 passes through the adhesive G on or in the screw insertion hole 224, thereby adhering to the threaded portion. As a result, the screw 50 is tightened with the adhesive G interposed between the screw hole 116 and the screw hole 116. Note that in this embodiment, too, when the housing 200 is abutted, the adhesive G spreads appropriately around the edge of the opening of the screw hole 116, so that the adhesive G is interposed from the edge of the opening of the screw hole 116 to the inside of the screw hole 116. This achieves strong fixation. As in the first embodiment, the adhesive G hardens between the screw 50 and the screw hole 116 after the screw 50 is tightened, thereby providing an anti-loosening function.

[0053] The housing assembly U of this embodiment described above provides the same effects as those of the first embodiment. That is, the adhesive G, which has a sealing function, can airtightly seal the housing 200A and the base 100A, and the adhesive G can also be used to adhesively fix the screws 50 into the screw holes 116. This makes it possible to prevent the screws 50 from loosening without requiring additional costs, additional processes, or special management. Therefore, the housing assembly U of this embodiment ensures the adhesion and sealing performance of the housing 200A and prevents the screws 50 from falling off.

[0054] Although the present invention has been described above based on the embodiments, the present invention is not limited to the configurations described in the above embodiments, and the configurations can be appropriately changed without departing from the spirit of the present invention. Furthermore, parts of the configurations of the above embodiments can be added, deleted, or replaced.

[0055] For example, in the above embodiment, the electrical component (coil assembly 1) is configured to be fixed to the bases 100, 100A with adhesive G, but it is not necessarily required that the electrical component (coil assembly 1) be fixed to the bases 100, 100A with adhesive G. It is sufficient that adhesive G is interposed between the housing main body 202 (202A) and the base 100 (100A), and between the screw 50 and the screw hole 116, and that these are fixed by adhesion.

[0056] Furthermore, although the adhesive G is shown as being applied across the center of the screw hole 116, this is not limited to this, and the adhesive G may be applied to the periphery of the screw hole 116, part of the opening of the screw hole 116, or even inside the screw hole 116, as long as the adhesive G adheres to the threaded portion when the screw 50 is screwed in.

[0057] The rib 25 of the coil assembly 1 that functions as the electric component adhesive margin S2 may have various shapes. The number of ribs 25 provided may be one, or three or more.

[0058] Although the press-fit terminal 10 is used as the connection terminal, other terminals that can be pressed into contact with the terminal, such as snap-fit terminals, can also be used as the connection terminal. Furthermore, the terminals can also be connected by welding, such as projection welding.

[0059] Furthermore, although the configuration has been shown in which the coil assembly 1 is fixed to the base 100, 100A as an electrical component with adhesive G, this is not limited to this and can also be suitably implemented for other electrical components assembled to the housing 200, 200A.

[0060] Furthermore, the adhesive G is shown as being applied to the front surfaces 101, 101A of the bases 100, 100A, but it may also be applied to the housings 200, 200A or the coil assemblies 1, 1A (electrical components) side.

[0061] 1 Coil assembly (electrical part), 5 Coil, 10 Press-fit terminal (connection terminal), 50 Screw, 100 Base, 101, 101A Front surface (one surface), 116 Screw hole, 200, 200A Housing, 200a Receiving portion, 202, 202A Housing body, G Adhesive, U Housing assembly, V1, V2 Solenoid valve
