Abstract

The invention relates to a wireless communication machine and method, specifically methods, components, devices and systems that enable different wireless devices to perform acknowledgment of the acknowledgment of certain wireless transmissions. The example method, performed at the first wireless node, generally consists of the step of receiving transmission acknowledgment information, from the second wireless node, of the physical layer protocol data block (PHY) (PPDU) intended for the first wireless node, generating a frame indicating at least a partial acknowledgment of the PPDU if one or more conditions are met, and transmitting that frame to the second wireless node.
