Abstract

The invention relates to a gas-fuel mixture for self-generating metalworking consisting of 1% by volume to less than 20% by volume of ethene, the remainder being hydrogen. The gas-fuel mixture is characterized by high stability and good flame visibility, suitable for all types of gas-fuel metalworking techniques and preferably proposed as a ready-to-use mixture.
