Method for preparing microencapsulated powder formulations from stem and / or leaf extracts of Panax vietnamensis.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing a microencapsulated powder preparation from stem and / or leaf extracts of Panax vietnamensis Ha et Grushv., 1985, specifically referring to Panax vietnamensis Ha et Grushv., 1985. The method includes the following steps: grinding the dry material and first extracting with water at 50-90°C; filtering the extract, and simultaneously extracting the residue with 60-80% ethanol and mixing the extracts from the extractions; concentrating the mixed extract under vacuum at 70-85°C, pressure 100-150 mbar, and recovering the ethanol solvent by condensation; mixing the concentrate with a carrier selected from maltodextrin, inulin, maltodextrin-inulin, or maltodextrin-gum arabic at a ratio of 5-30% (w / v). The mixture is dried by freeze-drying at -50 ± 2 °C, pressure of approximately 0.040 mbar, undergoing freezing, primary sublimation and secondary drying stages; and finally, the product is ground and sieved to obtain a microencapsulated powder with a uniform particle size < 100 µm and a moisture content of no more than 5%.This method allows for the efficient recovery and preservation of the characteristic saponin compounds of Ngoc Linh ginseng, while also creating a highly stable microencapsulated powder preparation.
