Abstract

The invention proposes a clip-on wireless charging device for a non-removable wearable monitoring device, wherein the charger is configured to be continuously worn and cannot be removed from the wearer without authorized intervention, wherein the wireless charger has a mechanical attachment interface for direct attachment to the wearer, wherein the mechanical attachment interface has a misalignment-prevention positioning structure to allow attachment only in a predetermined position and posture; a locking mechanism or clamp that can be manipulated while the wearer is being worn to hold the charging module in the attached state during power transfer; at least one sensor or mechanism to detect the attachment state of the module to the wearer; a real-time clock (RTC) to provide a real-time timestamp and a non-volatile memory; and the controller is configured to: record and store, in non-volatile memory, timestamped event logs for at least the following events: module attachment, module removal, power transmission start, power transmission end;Immediately detect and record, in the form of a time-stamped anomaly, at least one unusual behavior.
