Abstract

The invention relates to a method of encoding, a method of decoding, a line of code, an encoder, a decoder, and a storage medium. The method includes: determining the prediction method of the current block; on the basis of the prediction method of the current block, determining at least one contextual model; on the basis of at least one contextual model, decoding the line of code to determine the binary symbol sequence of the current block, wherein the binary symbol sequence consists of at least one binary symbol; performing inverse binaryization on the binary symbol sequence to determine the value of the first syntactic identification information; and when the first syntactic identification information indicates that the current block uses the first transformation method, determining the transformation kernel of the current block, and on the basis of the transformation kernel, performing inverse transformation on the transformation coefficient of the current block to determine the residual of the current block. Thus, the compression efficiency is improved.
