Abstract
The invention proposes a PVT condensate analysis chamber system and a dew point determination method using capillary traps and ultraviolet fluorescence. This system aims to overcome the shortcomings of other PVT devices, such as: difficulty in accurately determining the dew point due to thermodynamic hysteresis, poor measurement of trace liquid volume, and susceptibility to optical signal interference when the sample is contaminated with OBM or has a high CO₂ content. The invention utilizes a hybrid electromechanical-optical signal amplification mechanism, in which a narrow slit-shaped flat glass observation window combined with a mercury piston tip forms a capillary trap, forcibly aggregating invisible microliquid particles into a liquid ring. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation excites this ring to produce characteristic fluorescence, creating absolute contrast on a digital camera. This combination eliminates optical blind spots, allowing for instantaneous dew point detection and precise quantification of extremely small liquid volumes.
