Abstract

The invention relates to an information processing device and a method for processing information. The information processing device comprises: a receiver configured to receive, in the form of a training dataset, data on the selling price of products in a store and data indicating the sales promotion measures to be implemented in the store; and a learning unit configured so that, when the user's desired purchase price data is input using the training dataset received by the receiver, a machine learning model is learned to output data indicating the time at which the user can purchase the product at the desired price, wherein the learned machine learning model includes, when the data indicating the time at which the product can be purchased at the desired price by the user is output from the learned machine learning model, a process for notifying the user is performed.
