METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING GOLF CLUB HEADS AND GOLF CLUB TIPS

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing golf club heads and golf club heads. According to the invention, the method for manufacturing golf club heads consists of a process of arranging a binding tape between the first and second parts of a golf club head such that the first part is temporarily bonded to the second part by the adhesive of the binding tape. The method also includes a process of positioning the first part, the second part, and the binding tape, between the first and second parts, in a vacuum bag, and reducing the pressure inside the vacuum bag, relative to the pressure outside the vacuum bag, so that the vacuum bag collapses onto the first and second parts and compresses the binding tape between the first and second parts. The method also includes a process of heating the binding tape, at least to the bonding temperature of the binding tape, when the pressure inside the vacuum bag is reduced.
