Abstract
The invention relates to a floating structure system for installing and operating photovoltaic (PV) panels, or solar panels, on the surface of hydroelectric reservoirs, water reservoirs, dams, and other relatively stable water surfaces. Specifically, the invention relates to a floating system for installing solar panels comprising a modular floating assembly made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) consisting of a main and auxiliary floats connected alternately, and a support frame with flexible joints made of stainless steel and corrosion-resistant coated steel, capable of supporting, positioning, and maintaining the optimal tilt angle for the solar panels.
