Abstract
The invention proposes a mobile, extendable chamber heat pump drying system integrated into a small truck. The drying chamber consists of a fixed section within the truck bed and an extendable section that can be pulled out when the vehicle is stationary. The extendable section is constructed from a robust welded frame, supported by the truck bed, support legs, and support bracing, and is enclosed to minimize heat loss using assembled insulation to form a complete drying chamber. The system utilizes detachable trolleys to transport the drying material. The support platform, ladder frame, and drying trays can be detached, neatly stored in the truck bed during transport, and reassembled during operation. The heat pump drying system uses a unit of compressors and generators to power the drying agent circulation fan, driven by a common internal combustion engine. The compressors are started using bypass valves to reduce pressure differentials and lessen the load on the truck's internal combustion engine. The system utilizes an AHU unit to create a sequential closed-loop circulation of drying agent through the evaporator, condenser, and drying chamber. The drying system also features the ability to reverse the drying agent flow by switching the roles of the condenser and evaporator using a branch transfer valve located along the refrigerant path, and simultaneously reversing the airflow using a reversing fan unit. This enhances the uniformity of the drying process for all materials on the trolley from the beginning to the end of the drying chamber.
