Abstract

The invention relates to a process for producing a liquid fertilizer containing magnesium-doped hydroxyapatite (HAp) nanoparticles providing controlled mineral supply to plants, consisting of the following steps: i) preparation of a reaction medium containing calcium ions; ii) preparation of a dispersed phosphate solution; iii) preparation of a combined chemical-mechanical liquid fertilizer using appropriate complexing agents and surfactants to control particle size and suspension stability. The product obtained according to the proposed invention process has long-term stability in aqueous environments and high potential for application in mineral nutrition for plants, suitable for root irrigation, foliar spraying, and hydroponics.
