METHOD OF CONTROL AND PROTECTION AGAINST OUTLET CLOGGING CAUSED BY EXTERNAL BACK PRESSURE IN WATER PUMPS

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling output blockage protection caused by external back pressure on a water pump, including a step for setting a rotational speed threshold to activate output blockage protection, a power threshold table or current threshold table corresponding to the rotational speed, and a rotational speed threshold table for determining output blockage due to abnormal installation. During operation, the actual rotational speed and actual average power or actual average current are monitored. When the actual rotational speed exceeds the activation threshold and the actual average power or actual average current is below the corresponding threshold, output blockage is identified and control over the output blockage is enforced by increasing the current command to improve the water pump's output capacity.If the actual rotational speed does not exceed the abnormal setting threshold of the installation process during override control, the output blockage is identified as an output blockage caused by external back pressure, and the override control process continues until stable operation is restored. This method helps avoid unnecessary shutdowns and improves operational continuity.
