Abstract
The invention proposes a method and system for continuously monitoring the uniformity of capsule mass. The method of the invention is implemented by combining a load cell with a scale to periodically weigh the physical mass of capsules at sampling times and using interpolation to check, compare data and promptly detect any possible deviations. The system of the invention includes: a technical electronic weighing station (140); a load cell assembly (100); a transmitter; and an information processing unit (110). In addition, the invention also proposes a capsule filling machine including the above-mentioned system.
