1kW laser beam guiding optical system

Abstract

The invention relates to a laser beam-guided optical system with a power of 1 kW, a wavelength of 1070 nm ± 20 nm, and capable of destroying targets at a range of up to 200 m. The optical system is assembled from three main components: a collimator, a beam extender, and a focusing unit. The collimator lens assembly collimates the laser beam emitted from the fiber optic tip to create a laser beam with a small divergence angle. The beam then passes through the beam extender to create a nearly parallel laser beam. Finally, through the lens system of the focusing unit, the beam is focused into a small point on the material surface. The optical system is water-cooled, ensuring reliable operation with a continuous 1 kW laser beam and for extended periods. The optical system is applicable for the manufacture of laser guns, close-range laser weapons, and other applications.
