Abstract

The invention relates to a monolithic inductor consisting of a core column, coil, residual magnetic body, and magnetic plates. The core column and magnetic plates are made of a composite material of iron-based alloys. The coil is wound around the core column and secured by bending to form bottom electrodes at the base of the magnetic plates. The residual magnetic body is made of a mixed powder of iron-based alloys, amorphous iron-based nanocrystals, and iron carbonyl powder and is arranged around the core column and coil. An insulating anti-corrosion coating is attached to the outer surface of the residual magnetic body and is made of a material of phenoxy resin, epoxy phenolic resin, and microsilica powder. The invention also relates to a method of manufacture for producing this inductor.
