Compound tamdaoensis A and extraction method from the flowers of Camellia tamdaoensis

Abstract

The invention relates to a flavonoid glycoside compound with the formula tamdaoensis A: The compound tamdaoensis A obtained according to the invention is named kaempferol 3-O- [2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)]-α-L-rhamnopyranoside. The invention also relates to a method for isolating this flavonoid glycoside compound from the flowers of the Camellia tamdaoensis plant. The compound tamdaoensis A according to the invention exhibits antioxidant, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, fibrinolytic (thrombotic), and cytotoxic activity. The method according to the invention is useful in providing a scientific basis for applied research to create pharmaceuticals to support the prevention of stroke, cancer, and infections containing these compounds and their derivatives.
