COMPRESSION PADS USED TO RELOCATE THE BASE PLATES OF CONNECTORS

Abstract

The connector consists of a housing, a first base plate, and a second base plate, each partially enclosed within the housing, and a spacer plate positioned between the first and second base plates. The spacer plate has a body comprising an upper and lower extended crossbar connected by the first and second columns. A gap is provided between the first and second columns. The first connecting bar connects the first column to the first connecting branch, and the second connecting bar connects the second column to the second connecting branch. The spacer plate secures the position of the first and second base plates within the connector and presses them against the connector housing.
