CARGO STRAPPING SYSTEM

Abstract

The invention relates to an adjustable cargo lashing system comprising a cam lock and a hook coupled in a securing manner to reduce the risk of unintended release. The cam lock comprises a rear pin support frame and a spring-driven locking cam that clamps the woven strap. The cam lock also comprises a pin for the hook and a retaining element located next to the connecting bar, such as a baffle or ridge extending from the base of the lock. The hook receives the pin and can rotate between the secured position, where the retaining element prevents slippage, and the released position allowing detachment. In some examples, the hook also includes a spring-driven locking pin to prevent unintended release.
