Abstract

The invention relates to a stirring mill comprising a grinding drum and a stirring shaft extending axially inside the grinding drum and mounted rotating within the grinding drum, with an additional bearing arranged outside the grinding drum and supported by the shaft end of the stirring shaft, a connecting flange arranged on the bottom of the grinding drum extending in the direction of the additional bearing, in which the through-hole in the bottom of the grinding drum and the through-hole and connecting flange have an inner diameter larger than that of the additional bearing and in which a connecting ring is provided, which can be fitted into the annular gap created between the connecting ring and the bearing, spanning the annular gap, and can be connected to the connecting flange, and the additional bearing can be clamped to the bottom of the grinding drum via the connecting ring in the installed state. The invention also relates to a method for assembling and disassembling the bottom of the grinding drum in this stirring mill.
