TWO-PHASE COOLING PLATE

Abstract

The invention relates to a two-phase cooling plate comprising a base, a top cover, and a reducer. The base is arranged with numerous cooling fins to form multiple cooling fluid pathways between them. The cooling fins have an upper end and at least one covered area. The top cover is placed on top of the base, such that a chamber is defined between the top cover and the base. The top cover is arranged with an inlet and outlet opening to the chamber, and a stopper is placed between the inlet and outlet and in contact with the covered area. A reducer is arranged at the inlet. Cooling fluid flows through the reducer into the chamber at a reduced velocity, so that the cooling fluid can be evenly distributed in the chamber for complete heat exchange to achieve enhanced cooling and heat dissipation efficiency.
