Abstract

The invention relates to an aqueous preparation containing silver ions, at least one polymer containing at least 10% by weight of vinylimidazole polymerization units, and at least one surfactant of the formula R1-O-[CH2CH(R2 )-O]x [CH2CH2O]yH, where R1, R2, x and y are as defined in this description. The preparation has an improved application in the treatment of fibers or articles, such as textiles. The invention relates to a method for preparing the aqueous preparation and a method for treating fibers or articles.
