Abstract

This invention proposes a method for compensating for transmission distortion and calibrated for receiver channel error in a continuously modulated frequency (MISO FMCW) radar system. The method improves the beamforming quality of the receiver and enhances the accuracy in detecting and measuring necessary target information. The method is implemented in three steps: step 1: initializing the system parameters; step 2: determining the pre-compensation coefficient for nonlinear distortion in the transmission; step 3: determining the error correction coefficient between the receiver channels.
