Abstract
The system and method for detecting the conditions to activate and deactivate the self-balancing feature of a self-balancing vehicle, and implementing the results, are described. In one implementation, applying such a system might lead to the creation of a conditionally self-balancing system. In another implementation, this could be added as a safety mechanism to existing self-balancing systems.
