Abstract

The invention relates to a microbial preparation containing Weissella Paramesenteroides for the control of pathogenic Vibrio in whiteleg shrimp, comprising: i) a Weissella paramesenteroides (W. Paramesenteroides) strain identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing and confirmed to be capable of controlling pathogenic Vibrio in whiteleg shrimp; in which the density of the W. Paramesenteroides strain is within 10⁶ CFU / mL; and ii) a fermentation medium mixture; in which the volume ratio between the fermentation medium mixture and the W. paramesenteroides strain is 1000:1.
