TRAVEL RESTRICTION MECHANISM

Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanism for limiting the travel of shock absorbers fitted in covers for special equipment, to suppress instantaneous oscillations of large, fast-moving loads. The mechanism for limiting the travel of the invention comprises: a cylinder with a shaft end larger than the shaft body; an axially grooved friction bushing; a stop with an inner diameter smaller than the cylinder shaft end diameter; the friction bushing and stop restrict the movement of the cylinder shaft in two directions; and a bronze damping bushing that absorbs the instantaneous impact force when the cylinder shaft end strikes the stop.
