CONNECTING STRUCTURES OF PRECAST REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMNS WITH PREFABRICATED REINFORCED CONCRETE COLUMNS ON THE FLOOR AND IN-PLACE REINFORCED CONCRETE SLABS, AND CONSTRUCTION METHODS

Abstract

The invention relates to a structure connecting precast reinforced concrete column bases (1) with precast reinforced concrete columns on the lower floor and cast-in-place reinforced concrete slabs (4), in which the main reinforcement (2) of the precast column is connected to the waiting reinforcement (3) fixed from the precast column on the lower floor and through the slab, by a mechanical threaded coupler connector (5). The entire connection is located in the column base area (9). The connection area is filled with a combination of three layers of mortar including a non-shrink mortar cushion layer (8) at the bottom as a level cushion and to compensate for surface errors of the slab; a conventional concrete layer (6) in the middle occupying the majority of the volume of the connection area; and a non-shrink finishing mortar layer (7) on top poured after layer (6) has set, which functions to compensate for shrinkage and ensure continuous strength at the critical cross-section. The threaded couplers (5) can be arranged in a staggered manner at two levels in the column base area (9). In addition, the invention also describes a method for constructing this type of connection structure.
