Abstract

In one aspect, a display device consists of a display panel comprising a first base and a second base; a backlight unit facing the first base and configured to supply light to the display panel; a color filter layer on the first base; multiple gate and data lines on the second base configured to create multiple subpixels; thin-film transistors in each of the multiple subpixels on the second base; pixel electrodes and common electrodes in each of the multiple subpixels; a common line on the second base to apply a signal to the common electrode; and an intermembrane layer beneath the common line. The intermembrane layer consists of a first intermembrane configured to absorb light and a second intermembrane layer made of metal.
