System and methods for jamming frequency hopping signals with a repeating cycle.

Abstract

The invention proposes a system and method for tracking and jamming signals with a cyclic frequency hopping pattern, where the frequency hopping table has a stable and time-repeating structure. The system uses a broadband signal receiver to detect and estimate the parameters of the frequency hopping signal, including instantaneous frequency and pause time. Based on the parameter information accumulated over multiple cycles, the frequency hopping pattern of the target signal is determined or inferred. Based on this pattern, a jamming signal with a suitable waveform and transmission parameters is designed and selectively transmitted at each corresponding frequency and pause time. The solution allows for reduced jamming delay, optimized energy efficiency, and improved jamming effectiveness compared to traditional jamming methods.
