Abstract

The invention relates to an imaging device into which an ink reservoir is to be fitted, consisting of a mounting part into which an ink reservoir is to be fitted, and comprising a receiving port for receiving ink supplied from the ink reservoir, a passage for the received ink to pass through the receiving port and having an opening, and a filter part arranged to cover the opening and allow air to pass through; and a containment part constructed to contain the ink received through the receiving port. At least part of the opening overlaps with the receiving port as viewed in the horizontal orientation perpendicular to the direction of gravity.
