PLASMA DEVICE AND METHOD OF DELIVERING THERMAL-CONTROLLED ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE PLASMA FOR USE IN SOFT TISSUE THERAPY

Abstract

The invention proposes a temperature-controlled atmospheric pressure plasma generator for use in non-invasive soft tissue therapy. The device comprises a high-pressure source, a gas supply system, and a tubular plasma emitter (100). The plasma is generated by an electrode structure (104) forming a discharge zone consisting of a narrow gap (104a) and an extended (104b) zone in the direction of the gas flow. After the discharge zone, the plasma emitter (100) includes a temperature and pressure stabilization chamber (105), in which the plasma flow is regulated to reduce oscillations and redistribute heat before exiting. The device also includes a temperature sensor (106) and a controller configured to adjust the gas flow and / or high-pressure source power to maintain the plasma temperature in the range of 38°C to 50°C, thereby creating a stable warm plasma stream suitable for non-invasive soft tissue therapy.
