Abstract
The invention relates to a PROCESS for producing carbon credits from rice using biochar combined with duckweed. The process includes: (i) preparing and classifying biomass into four groups: hardwood, fruit peel, rice husk, and bagasse; (ii) producing biochar by pyrolysis under optimal conditions for each biomass group; (iii) managing duckweed in rice paddies; (iv) applying biochar and duckweed simultaneously in rice paddies according to ecological zones including freshwater, brackish water, saltwater, and saline-acidic soil; and (v) quantifying carbon credits through establishing baseline scenarios, collecting and matching greenhouse gas emission data, and quantifying carbon credit generation potential.
