Abstract
The invention relates to a method for preparing a high-entropy alloy powder with an amorphous structure and low saturation magnetization, comprising the steps of preparing a mixture of Al, Fe, Cu, Zn, and Ti metal powders in approximately equal atomic ratios and grinding the mixture by high-energy mechanical grinding. The resulting alloy powder has an amorphous phase content of not less than 67%, determined by X-ray diffraction, and a saturation magnetization not greater than 2.6 A m² / kg. In the preferred scheme, the grinding process is performed by planetary ball milling in a toluene medium with a ball mill mass to powder mass ratio of not less than 50:1 and a grinding time of not less than 45 hours, thereby obtaining an alloy powder with an amorphous phase content of not less than 77% and a saturation magnetization not greater than 0.16 A m² / kg.
