Abstract
The invention relates to a high-entropy alloy powder of amorphous structure and low saturation magnetization, comprising the elements Al, Fe, Cu, Zn, and Ti, each element having an atomic ratio of approximately 20%. The alloy powder shall have an amorphous phase content of not less than 67%, determined by X-ray diffraction, and a saturation magnetization not greater than 2.6 A m² / kg. In the preferred scheme, the alloy powder shall be prepared by high-energy mechanical milling, preferably planetary ball milling in a toluene medium, with a mass ratio of milled balls to powder mass not less than 50:1 and a milling time not less than 45 hours to obtain an amorphous phase content of not less than 77% and a saturation magnetization not greater than 0.16 A m² / kg.
