MOVABLE FIXING BASE WITH JOINT AND SELF-CENTERING MECHANISM

Abstract

The articulated movable base has a self-centering mechanism consisting of a base, a connector, and an annular spring plate. The base creates a receiving space and has a through-hole. The connector is positioned to move within the receiving space and consists of a first and second head. The first head extends outward from the base through the through-hole, and the second head extends toward the opening of the base. The annular spring plate is positioned between the base and the connector and consists of a retaining ring and extension arms adjacent to the inner surface of the base. When moved radially by an external force, the connector drives the retaining ring, thereby deforming the extension arms. When the external force is removed, the extension arms release the radial restoring force to return the connector to its central position.
