Abstract
The invention relates to an improved bulk material scraper bucket design for use in cranes, excavators, and mining equipment. The scraper bucket comprises two symmetrical bucket mouths (bucket blades), a system of four structurally connected support arms, and a power transmission assembly consisting of an upper pulley assembly and a lower pulley assembly. The invention is characterized by a lower pulley assembly with a larger diameter than the upper pulley assembly by an optimal ratio between 1.3 and 1.8 times, and is dynamically linked via an eccentric lever mechanism. Simultaneously, the four support arms are constructed entirely from a hollow, cast-in-place, load-bearing tubular structure with beveled, fin-shaped connecting ends for inserting reinforcing bars before assembly welding. All mechanical rotating joints on the scraper bucket are operated via a system of wear-resistant, load-bearing bearings combined with seals to prevent contamination. This improvement optimizes the dead weight of the bucket, increases the bending and torsional inertia, enhances the gripping force at the final closing stroke, and minimizes friction that could damage the winch cable.
