Abstract

The invention relates to a lighting method and lighting system. The lighting method includes the following steps: collecting geometric data of the building facade, by architectural mapping, such as height, siding direction, layout direction and building form characteristics; creating a light-map, by architectural mapping, from the collected data so that the light-map has high compatibility with the actual location of the lighting fixtures in the lighting system; dividing the control zone, by control zone division, based on geometric characteristics or architectural layout, each zone can be processed and controlled separately while ensuring overall synchronization;The media processing unit receives and processes input media data, such as video, images, or motion data, and converts it into digital multiplex (DMX) signals to control lighting suitable for the lighting system in each zone or section; and synchronizes DMX signals on a large scale by the system synchronization unit, where synchronization between multiple controllers can be via a communication network or through a real-time synchronization mechanism, thereby ensuring that lighting effects are executed continuously without interruption or phase shift.
