Abstract
The invention relates to a process for synthesizing a biodegradable nano-system, specifically poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) / hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin / lecithin (PLGA / HPCD / LC) carrying diosmin and hesperidin, coated with chitosan (Nano DH@PHLC), by solvent evaporation for the oral treatment of varicose veins. The synthesis process includes the following steps: creating a dispersed phase consisting of DMSO solvent dissolving diosmin and hesperidin, lecithin dissolved in dichloromethane solvent, mixed with a PLGA solution in ethyl acetate with high-speed stirring; a continuous phase consisting of chitosan mixed with polyvinylic alcohol to form a clear and homogeneous mixture. Simultaneously, HPCD is stirred to dissolve in the continuous phase. Then, the dispersed phase is slowly added to the continuous phase, followed by homogenization; centrifugation, washing with distilled water, and cooling to dry and recover the solid powder.
