Bipolar electrolysis system

Abstract

This invention relates to an electrolysis process and system for electrolyzing water using alkaline electrolysis technology to produce hydrogen and oxygen, including: flange plates (1) with four through holes, corresponding to the through holes (9), (10), (11) of the bipolar plates, bipolar plates (4) arranged alternately with diaphragms (5), forming a positive electrode cluster on one side and a negative electrode cluster on the other, completely separating the positive (7) and negative (8) cathode chambers, preventing the mixing of hydrogen and oxygen gases produced during electrolysis. Plastic gasket plates (6) are arranged in between to ensure insulation between adjacent bipolar plates. Current is supplied to the positive electrode (anode) (2) and negative electrode (cathode) (3) contact plates.
