The invention relates to disposable or reusable cotton pads for increased portability, hygiene and convenience, which consist of a base layer formed on a substrate and impregnated with a cosmetic component; and a surface layer formed on top of a sponge and in contact with the skin for the application of a cosmetic preparation.
