Abstract

The invention proposes a modular cable connecting electronic devices to a power supply and providing protection for electronic devices, comprising: multiple cables; a first connector electrically connected to one end of the multiple cables, the first connector configured to be detachable from the electronic device; a second connector electrically connected to the other end of the multiple cables, the second connector configured to be detachable from the power supply; and a detection device arranged on the multiple cables, between the first and second connectors, the detection device configured to detect the operating status of all cables, and when the operating status is abnormal, disconnects specific electrical paths in the multiple cables between the first and second connectors, causing the electronic device to cease operation.
