Supercritical thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foam used in shoe sole manufacturing and the method of producing it.

Abstract

The invention proposes a supercritical thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foam product comprising 80 to 90 parts by mass of TPU elastomer, 8 to 12 parts by mass of cellulose fibers, 1 to 3 parts by mass of nucleating agent, and 2 to 5 parts by mass of crosslinking agent. The TPU elastomer comprises 40 to 50 parts by mass of polyester polyol, 25 to 33 parts by mass of diisocyanate, 14 to 24 parts by mass of lauric acid, 7 to 12 parts by mass of pentaerytritol, 0.02 to 0.05 parts by mass of catalyst, 3 to 8 parts by mass of 3,3,4,4-benzophenone tetracarboxylic diahydride, and 1 to 3 parts by mass of antioxidant. A method for producing supercritical thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) foam for shoe sole manufacturing has also been proposed.
