Abstract

The invention relates to a method of stamping for a connecting part consisting of: a plate-shaped protrusion extending from the first face of the connecting part through a hole made in the part to be joined; and plastically deforming the protrusion. The stamping die consists of: two stamping parts for correspondingly stamping the ends of the second face of the protrusion in the direction of the part to be joined; and a void created which is the space facing the protrusion between the two stamping parts. The stamping method consists of: a first step to bring the protrusion into a state in which the protrusion extends through the hole made in the part to be joined; and a second step to press the ends with the two stamping parts in such a way as to plastically deform the ends and produce flattened, elongated parts on the part to be joined from the hole.
