ERGONOMIC HAMMER / AXE STRUCTURE

Abstract

The proposed ergonomic hammer / axe structure consists of a handle (10) and a closing mechanism (20). The handle (10) consists of a first body (11), a second body (12), and a third body (13) connected sequentially from the far end to the near end. The central axis of the first body (11) is inclined upwards relative to the central axis of the second body (12) by a first angle (A). The central axis of the third body (13) is inclined downwards relative to the central axis of the second body (12) by a second angle (B). The closing mechanism (20) is positioned perpendicular to the first body (11). When the user grasps the third body (13) and swings the handle (10) downwards so that the closing mechanism (20) strikes the nail, the closing mechanism (20) will directly impact the nail (30) by the angle adjustment created by a first tilt angle (A) and a second tilt angle (B), maintaining a neutral wrist position and preventing the palm and interdigital space from being overextended. The closing mechanism (20) forms a parabolic surface.
