[0002] The present application relates to the field of communication technology, and in particular to a service indication method and device. Background Art
[0003] Low latency is a key feature of 802.11be. Multi-link transmission between transmitting and receiving devices can significantly reduce packet latency. However, there is currently no solution for indicating the quality of service (QoS) of multiple links in multi-link scenarios. Therefore, receiving devices cannot determine which link is causing poor QoS for a particular low-latency service.
[0004] Summary of the Invention
[0005] The present application provides a service indication method and apparatus to accurately determine the service quality of each link in a multi-link.
[0006] In a first aspect, a service indication method is provided, the method comprising: generating a service quality measurement report, the service quality measurement report including link indication information and service quality information of the links, the link indication information being used to indicate multiple links carrying a service, the service quality information of the links including the number of media access control service data units lost on each of the multiple links carrying the service; and sending the service quality measurement report. In this aspect, a multi-link transmitting end device includes the link indication information and the service quality information of the links in the service quality measurement report, the link indication information being used to indicate multiple links carrying a service, the service quality information of the links including the number of media access control service data units lost on each of the multiple links carrying the service, thereby enabling a peer end to accurately determine the service quality of each link in the multi-links based on the service quality measurement report, thereby improving the reliability of service transmission.
[0007] In a second aspect, a service indication method is provided, the method comprising: receiving a service quality measurement report, the service quality measurement report comprising link indication information and link service quality information, the link indication information being used to indicate multiple links carrying a service, the link service quality information comprising the number of media access control service data units lost on each of the multiple links carrying the service; and determining the service quality of each of the multiple links carrying the service based on the service quality measurement report. In this aspect, a multi-link receiving device receives a service quality measurement report sent by a multi-link transmitting device, the service quality measurement report comprising link indication information and link service quality information, the link indication information being used to indicate multiple links carrying a service, the link service quality information comprising the number of media access control service data units lost on each of the multiple links carrying the service, thereby accurately determining the service quality of each link in the multiple links based on the service quality measurement report, thereby improving the reliability of service transmission.
[0008] After determining the service quality of each of the multiple links carrying a service, the multi-link receiving device can take appropriate actions for links with service quality lower than the service quality requirement of the low-latency service to further improve the service quality of the low-latency service carried on these links. Specifically, one approach is to negotiate a TID-to-link relationship between APs, so that multiple links correspond to a single TID, thereby reducing the latency of the service. Another approach is to establish a restricted service period for links with service quality lower than the service quality requirement of the low-latency service, so that only the low-latency service can be transmitted during this restricted service period to prevent interference from other services on the low-latency service.
[0009] In combination with the first aspect or the second aspect, in a possible implementation, the link indication information includes the number of links of the multiple links carrying the service and a link identifier of each link in the multiple links carrying the service.
[0010] In combination with the first aspect or the second aspect, in another possible implementation, the link indication information is implemented using a bitmap, and a first value of the bitmap indicates multiple links that carry the service.
[0011] In combination with the first aspect or the second aspect, in another possible implementation, the service quality measurement report further includes at least one of the following information: a flow classification service identifier, an actual measurement start time of the service quality measurement report, a total number of media access control service data units successfully sent on multiple links of the bearer service, a total number of media access control service data units discarded on multiple links of the bearer service, a total number of media access control service data units that failed to be sent on multiple links of the bearer service, a total number of media access control service data units that were retransmitted multiple times on multiple links of the bearer service, an average transmission delay of multiple links of the bearer service, a number of times no acknowledgment was received on each of the multiple links of the bearer service, a number of times overlapping basic service sets were received on each of the multiple links of the bearer service, a channel load of each of the multiple links of the bearer service, a basic delay range, and a total number of media access control service data units in multiple links of the bearer service that are within at least one delay range, wherein the at least one delay range is obtained based on the basic delay range. In this implementation, the above parameters in the service quality measurement report can be used to characterize the service quality of multiple links carrying the low-latency service. The service quality measurement report may include the above parameters, or may include some of the above parameters.

[0087] The embodiments of the present application are described below in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of the present application.
[0088] The solution of the present application is mainly applied to wireless local area networks, especially to multi-link transmission scenarios. As shown in Figure 1, it is a structural diagram of a communication system applicable to the present application. The communication system 100 includes a multi-link transmitting device 11 and a multi-link receiving device 12. The multi-link transmitting device 11 and the multi-link receiving device 12 (collectively referred to as "multi-link devices") communicate with each other through N links, where N is a positive integer. The frequency band in which the multi-link device operates can be any of the following frequency bands: 1 GHz, 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz, and all or part of the high frequency 60 GHz, etc. As shown in the schematic diagram of the multi-link transmission scenario in Figure 2, the multi-link transmitting device can include one or more access points (APs) (also referred to as access point multi-link devices (AP MLDs)), and the multi-link receiving device can include one or more stations (STAs) (also referred to as non-access point multi-link devices (NON-AP MLDs)); alternatively, the multi-link transmitting device can include one or more STAs, and the multi-link receiving device can include one or more APs.
[0089] As shown in the structural diagram of the multi-link device in Figure 3, the AP MLD and NON-AP MLD in the embodiment of the present application can structurally include: a media access control layer (MAC) and a physical layer (PHY). The MAC layer is further divided into a high MAC layer and a low MAC layer. Specifically, multiple APs in the AP MLD share one AP high MAC, and each AP corresponds to one AP low MAC; multiple STAs in the NON-AP MLD share one STA high MAC, and each AP corresponds to one STA low MAC. The AP PHY of each AP in the AP MLD communicates with the STA PHY of a STA in the corresponding NON-AP MLD via a link.
[0090] When a transmitting device needs to establish a low-latency service, it can inform the receiving device of the specific QoS requirements for this low-latency service through a traffic specification element (TSPEC element). However, this traffic specification element does not include an indication of the required packet loss rate. In wireless systems, it is difficult to guarantee a zero packet loss rate while meeting latency requirements.
[0091] In view of this, the present application provides a service indication solution. A transmitting device generates service quality requirement information, which includes packet loss rate indication information. The transmitting device sends this service quality requirement information to a receiving device. The receiving device can then decide whether to approve the establishment of the low-latency service based on the service quality requirement information. If the low-latency service is approved, the packet loss rate must be minimized while meeting the latency requirement.
[0092] FIG4 is a flow chart of a service indication method provided in an embodiment of the present application. The method may include the following steps:
[0093] S101. A transmitting end device generates service quality requirement information, where the service quality requirement information includes packet loss rate indication information.
[0094] The service in this embodiment may be a low-latency service, and the transmitting device sends a data stream specification element to the receiving device to inform the receiving device of the service quality requirement information of the low-latency service. Since it is difficult for a wireless system to ensure zero packet loss rate while meeting the latency requirement, it is possible to minimize the packet loss rate while meeting the low latency. Therefore, in this embodiment, the service quality requirement information also includes packet loss rate indication information, which is used to indicate the maximum acceptable packet loss information. The transmitting device is one of the transmitting devices in a multi-link transmitting device; the receiving device is one of the receiving devices in a multi-link receiving device. For example, the transmitting device may be an AP, and the receiving device is an STA; or, the transmitting device may be an STA, and the receiving device is an AP.
[0095] As shown in Figure 5, the data flow specification elements corresponding to the service quality requirement information include:
[0096] Element ID: used to identify which element this is. For example, the element ID occupies 1 byte;
[0097] Length: indicates the number of bytes that the element occupies. For example, the length occupies 1 byte;

[0099] Direction: Indicates the direction of the communication flow. 00 indicates uplink; 10 indicates downlink; 01 indicates a direct link; 11 indicates both uplink and downlink. For example, the direction occupies 1 byte;
[0100] Minimum service interval: indicates the minimum interval between any two service periods of the communication flow. For example, the minimum service interval occupies 4 bytes;
[0101] Maximum service interval: indicates the maximum interval between any two service periods of the communication flow. For example, the maximum service interval occupies 4 bytes;
[0102] Inactivity interval: Indicates the minimum interval during which no data packets arrive in the communication flow. For example, the inactivity interval occupies 4 bytes;
[0103] Suspension interval: indicates the minimum interval at which the communication flow is suspended. For example, the suspension interval occupies 4 bytes;
[0104] Service start time: indicates the start time of the service. For example, the service start time occupies 4 bytes;
[0105] Minimum data rate: Indicates the minimum data rate corresponding to the service access point location at the media access control (MAC) layer. For example, the minimum data rate occupies 4 bytes;
[0106] Mean data rate: Indicates the average data rate corresponding to the service access point location at the MAC layer. For example, the average data rate occupies 4 bytes;
[0107] Burst size: Indicates the maximum burst size of the communication flow. For example, the burst size occupies 4 bytes;
[0108] Delay bound: indicates the maximum delay allowed for the communication flow. For example, the delay bound occupies 4 bytes;
[0109] Discard age: Indicates the maximum lifetime of a media access control service data unit (MSDU). If the lifetime exceeds this, the sender must discard the MSDU. For example, the discard age occupies 2 bytes.
[0110] In one implementation, the packet loss rate indication information includes the maximum acceptable number of packet losses and the reference number of service data packets. Therefore, the data flow specification element corresponding to the service quality requirement information also includes:
[0111] Maximum acceptable number of discarded MSDUs: This field indicates the maximum number of discarded MSDUs that can be accepted for a low-latency service under a given maximum delay. For example, if the maximum number of discarded MSDUs is 4 bytes, the maximum number of discarded MSDUs can range from 0 to 2. 32In another example, the maximum number of packet losses may also be a maximum packet loss range. For example, a correspondence between multiple maximum packet loss ranges and indexes is pre-set, and both the transmitting device and the receiving device store the correspondence. Then, the acceptable maximum number of packet losses may be the above index value, which can save signaling overhead.
[0112] An example of the correspondence between the maximum packet loss range and the index is shown in Table 1 below:
[0113] Table 1
[0114] The maximum acceptable packet loss number for an index ranges from 00 to 100, 1101 to 200, and so on.
[0115] Measurement count: This field indicates the reference measurement count used to calculate the packet loss rate, i.e., the number of packets actually sent by the sending device. For example, the measurement count can occupy 4 bytes, so the range of the measurement count can be 0 to 2. 32 .
[0116] The receiving device receives the above-mentioned maximum acceptable packet loss number and the reference number of business data packets, and can calculate the maximum acceptable packet loss rate of the sending device as: the maximum acceptable packet loss number / the reference number of business data packets.
[0117] In another implementation, as shown in FIG6 , the packet loss rate indication information includes the maximum acceptable packet loss rate and the reference number of service data packets. Therefore, the data flow specification element corresponding to the service quality requirement information also includes:
[0118] Maximum Acceptable MSDU Rate: This value indicates the maximum acceptable packet loss rate for a low-latency service under a given maximum latency. This maximum acceptable packet loss rate = maximum acceptable number of packet losses / reference number of service data packets. For example, multiple mappings between maximum packet loss rates and indexes can be pre-defined, and both the transmitting and receiving devices store these mappings. The maximum acceptable packet loss rate can then be the index value.
[0119] An example of the correspondence between the acceptable maximum packet loss rate and the index is shown in Table 2 below:
[0120] Table 2
[0121] The maximum acceptable packet loss rate for the index is 05%-110%...
[0122] Service data package reference quantity: Its meaning is the same as described above.
[0123] The receiving end device can calculate the actual packet loss rate based on the actually received service data packets and the reference quantity of service data packets, and then determine whether it is within the above-mentioned acceptable maximum packet loss rate.
[0124] Furthermore, the data stream specification element corresponding to the service quality requirement information may further include parameters for triggering reports (triggered reporting parameters):
[0125] An indication of whether to enable triggering the sending of service quality requirement information based on the average packet loss rate (triggered report enable): It is used to indicate whether to enable triggering measurement reports based on the average packet loss rate. For example, this indication occupies 1 bit. When the value of this 1 bit is "1", it indicates enabling triggering measurement reports based on the average packet loss rate; when the value of this 1 bit is "0", it indicates disabling triggering measurement reports based on the average packet loss rate. Disabling triggering measurement reports based on the average packet loss rate means that the sending end device sends a measurement report to the receiving end device only when it receives a request sent by the receiving end device.
[0126] The threshold of the average packet loss rate (discarded threshold): It is used to indicate the threshold of the average packet loss rate for triggering measurement reports. This threshold is generally less than the above-mentioned acceptable maximum number of lost packets. For example, when the above-mentioned indication of whether to enable triggering the sending of service quality requirement information based on the average packet loss rate is used to indicate disabling triggering measurement reports based on the average packet loss rate, the bits corresponding to this threshold of the average packet loss rate can be reserved or not appear.
[0127] The basic delay range (Bin 0range): It represents the delay range of the first histogram bar (Bin0) of the transmission delay (transmit delay) histogram, that is, the number of MSDUs with a delay in the range of 0 <= Delay < B0. Other histogram bars (Bin i) are obtained based on this basic delay range.
[0128] Furthermore, the data stream specification element corresponding to the service quality requirement information may further include:
[0129] [[ID=,18]]An indication of whether it is a high-reliability service: That is, through this indication, it is further indicated whether this low-latency service is a high-reliability service. High-reliability services have higher requirements for low latency. For example, this indication can be 1 bit. For example, when the value of this 1 bit is "1", it indicates that this service is a high-reliability service; when the value of this 1 bit is "0", it indicates that this service is not a high-reliability service.
[0130] Maximum service delay jitter: This information is used to indicate to the transmitting end device that the delay jitter of the low-latency service must not exceed the maximum delay jitter. The maximum delay jitter of the service can be indicated using several bits.
[0131] Indication information on whether to adopt the backup transmission mode: This indication information is used to indicate whether the sending device and / or the receiving device adopts the backup transmission mode. The backup transmission mode means that for an MSDU, before the sending device receives a successful reception response (acknowledgement, ACK) from the receiving device, multiple backups of the MSDU can be transmitted through one or more links; or, before the receiving device receives an ACK from the sending device, multiple backups of the MSDU can be transmitted through one or more links. For example, the indication information can be 1 bit. For example, when the value of this 1 bit is "1", it indicates that the backup transmission mode can be adopted; when the value of this 1 bit is "0", it indicates that the backup transmission mode is not adopted.
[0132] Indication information of the desired channel access method: The desired channel access method can be enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) or uplink-based triggered channel access. EDCA is a commonly used random access method; uplink-based triggered channel access means that the transmitting device sends a trigger indication, and the receiving device sends uplink data. The indication information can be 1 bit, and the correspondence between its bit value and the desired channel access method can be: "0" indicates that the desired channel access method is EDCA, and "1" indicates that the desired channel access method is uplink-based triggered channel access.
[0133] Indication information on whether a restricted service period needs to be established: A restricted service period means that during the restricted service period, only the low-latency service can be transmitted, and other services cannot be used to transmit, so as to avoid interference of other services on the low-latency service and reduce the latency of the low-latency service. There are two ways to establish a restricted service period: one is to establish it using the target wake time (TWT), and the other is to establish it through a quiet element. The indication information can be 1 bit. When the value of the 1 bit is "1", it indicates that a restricted service period needs to be established; when the value of the 1 bit is "0", it indicates that a restricted service period does not need to be established.
[0134] S102. The transmitting device sends service quality requirement information to the receiving device.
[0135] S103. The receiving device receives the service quality requirement information and determines the service quality requirement based on the service quality requirement information.
[0136] The receiving device receives the service quality requirement information, parses and obtains the service quality requirement information to understand the service quality requirement of the receiving device. Furthermore, during the service transmission process, when the service quality does not meet the service quality requirement, feedback can be given to the sending device.
[0137] According to a service indication method provided in an embodiment of the present application, a transmitting device generates service quality requirement information, which includes packet loss rate indication information, and sends the service quality requirement information to a receiving device. The receiving device can then decide whether to approve the establishment of the low-latency service based on the service quality requirement information. If the low-latency service is approved, the packet loss rate must be minimized while meeting the latency requirement.
[0138] To better meet the service quality requirements of low-latency services, the transmitting device can send service quality measurement reports to the receiving device to inform the current service quality achieved by the low-latency service. However, there is currently no solution for how a multi-link transmitting device can send service quality measurement reports in a multi-link scenario. Therefore, a multi-link receiving device cannot determine the service quality of each of the multiple links.
[0139] In view of this, the present application provides a service indication solution, in which a multi-link transmitting end device includes link indication information and service quality information of the link in a service quality measurement report, where the link indication information is used to indicate multiple links carrying the service, and the service quality information of the link includes the number of media access control service data units lost on each link in the multiple links carrying the service, so that the opposite end can accurately determine the service quality of each link in the multiple links based on the service quality measurement report, thereby improving the reliability of service transmission.
[0140] FIG7 is a flow chart of another service indication method provided in an embodiment of the present application. The method may include the following steps:
[0141] S201. The multi-link transmitting end device generates a service quality measurement report.
[0142] By carrying / transmitting services over multiple links, service packet delay can be reduced. During service transmission, the multi-link transmitting device obtains the service quality of each of the multiple links carrying the service and generates a service quality measurement report.
[0143] In this embodiment, the service quality measurement report includes link indication information and service quality information of the link. The link indication information is used to indicate multiple links that carry the service. In a multi-link scenario, the service may be carried by all links or some links. The link indication information is used to indicate the multiple links that actually carry the service. The service quality information of the link includes the number of MSDUs lost on each link in the multiple links that carry the service (MSDU lost count). The number of lost MSDUs means that the multi-link transmitting end device sent the MSDU but did not receive the successful reception response / block confirmation (ACK / BA) sent by the multi-link receiving end, or received the ACK / BA but displayed a reception error.
[0144] In one implementation, as shown in FIG8 , the link indication information includes the number of links of the multiple links carrying the service and a link identifier (link ID) of each link in the multiple links carrying the service.
[0145] Thus, the service quality measurement report includes:
[0146] Number of links carrying services: used to indicate the number of links currently carrying the low-latency service;
[0147] Link identifier of each link in the multiple links carrying the service: that is, the link identifier corresponding to the MSDU lost count:
[0148] The service quality information of the link includes the number of MSDUs lost on each link in the multiple links carrying the service (MSDU lost count): if the number of links in the multiple links carrying the service is N, then it includes N MSDU lost counts, where N is a positive integer;
[0149] Furthermore, the service quality measurement report also includes:
[0150] Element ID: used to identify the element. For example, the element ID occupies 1 byte.
[0151] Length: Indicates the number of bytes that the element occupies. For example, the length occupies 1 byte.
[0152] Traffic identifier bitmap: This field indicates which traffic identifier (TID) this element corresponds to. TIDs can be 0 to 7, 0 to 15, or 8 to 15. For example, the traffic identifier bitmap occupies 1 byte.
[0153] The actual measurement start time of the service quality measurement report refers to the time when the trigger condition is met if the measurement report is triggered. For example, it can be the timing synchronization function (TSF) value at the trigger time. The trigger condition is met when the actual average packet loss rate is greater than or equal to the average packet loss rate threshold in the above embodiment, which triggers the sending of the measurement report.
[0154] The total number of media access control service data units successfully sent on multiple links carrying services (transmitted MSDU count): refers to the number of MSDUs successfully sent by the multi-link transmitting device and received ACK / BR sent by the multi-link receiving device;
[0155] The total number of media access control service data units discarded on multiple links carrying services (MSDU discarded count): refers to the number of MDSUs discarded by the multi-link sending device due to timeout or exceeding the number of retransmissions;
[0156] The total number of media access control service data units that failed to be sent on multiple links carrying services (MSDU failed count): This refers to the number of MSDUs discarded by the multi-link transmitting device due to exceeding the retransmission count;
[0157] The total number of media access control service data units (MSDU multiple retry count) that are retransmitted multiple times on multiple links carrying the service: This refers to the number of MSDUs that are successfully transmitted by the multi-link transmitting device and retransmitted more than once;
[0158] Average transmit delay of multiple links carrying a service: This refers to the average sum of the delays of each link in the multiple links carrying the service. This average transmit delay represents the transmission delay of the sending device of the multiple links.
[0159] Number of times that ACKs were not received on each of the multiple links carrying the service: that is, the number of ACK / BR failures on each of the multiple links carrying the service;
[0160] The number of overlapping basic service set (OBSS) frames received on each of the multiple links carrying the service;
[0161] The channel load of each of the multiple links carrying the service: for example, the proportion of the channel of each of the multiple links carrying the service that is busy;
[0162] Base delay range: represents the delay range of the first bin (Bin 0) of the transmit delay histogram, i.e., the number of MSDUs where 0 <= Delay < B0;
[0163] The total number of media access control service data units in the multiple links carrying the service that are within at least one delay range, i.e., Bin i: the number of MSDUs where the delay falls within 2^(i - 1)*B0 <= Delay < 2^i*B0. Bin i is obtained based on the above base delay range. In Figure 8, i is from 1 to 5.
[0164] Each of the above parameters in the quality of service measurement report can be used to characterize the quality of service of the multiple links carrying the low-latency service. The quality of service measurement report can include each of the above parameters, or can include some of the above multiple parameters.
[0165] In another implementation, as shown in Figure 9, it is a schematic diagram of the format of another quality of service measurement report. Different from Figure 8, in Figure 9, the service measurement report includes:
[0166] Link indication information, which is implemented using a bitmap. The first value of the bitmap indicates the multiple links carrying the service. For example, in this multi-link scenario, there are 5 links in total, link1 to link4. A bit value of '1' in the bitmap indicates a link carrying the service. If the bitmap of the link indication information is '11001', it means that link 1, link 2, and link 5 are the links carrying the service;
[0167] The number of MSDUs lost on each of the multiple links carrying the service, which has the same meaning as described in Figure 8. Corresponding to the above bitmap of '11001', the MSDU lost count is repeated 3 times.
[0168] Other parameters included in the service measurement report can be the same as those described in Figure 8.
[0169] For example, the above quality of service measurement report is included in an element.
[0170] The multi-link transmitting end device may also measure other parameters, and the measurement report of the parameter is carried in an element and sent.
[0171] S202. The multi-link transmitting end device sends a service quality measurement report to the multi-link receiving end device.
[0172] The multi-link transmitting end device may send the service quality measurement report to the multi-link receiving end device via any link that carries the service, or may send the service quality measurement report via a link that does not carry the service.
[0173] S203. The multi-link receiving end device receives the service quality measurement report and determines the service quality of each link in the multiple links carrying the service based on the service quality measurement report.
[0174] The multi-link receiving end device receives the service quality measurement report and can obtain the service quality of each link in the multiple links carrying the service. If the service quality of the low-latency service is poor, it can accurately determine which link causes the poor service quality of the low-latency service.
[0175] Furthermore, after determining the service quality of each of the multiple links carrying the service, the multi-link receiving device can take corresponding actions for links whose service quality is lower than the service quality requirement of the low-latency service, to further improve the service quality of the low-latency service carried on these links. Specifically, one approach is to negotiate a mapping of communication identifiers to links (TID-to-link) between APs, so that multiple links correspond to one TID, thereby reducing the latency of the service. Another approach is to establish a corresponding restricted service period for links whose service quality is lower than the service quality requirement of the low-latency service, so that only the low-latency service can be transmitted during this restricted service period to prevent other services from interfering with the low-latency service.
[0176] Among them, for TID-to-link mapping negotiation, one method is to use TID-to-link mapping to indicate whether each link is enabled (enable) or disabled (disable). For example, if no TID is mapped to a link, the link is disabled; conversely, if any TID is mapped to the link, the link is said to be enabled, and AP MLD and non-AP MLD can be transmitted over the enabled link.
[0177] For TID-to-link mapping negotiation, the responder has the following three response modes:
[0178] Mode 1: If the TID-to-link mapping instruction only includes shutting down one or more links, the responder must accept the TID-to-link mapping scheme or these links must be shut down;
[0179] Mode 2: If the TID-to-link mapping indication includes only opening one or more links, the responder can accept or reject the TID-to-link mapping scheme;
[0180] Mode 3: If the TID-to-link mapping instruction includes both shutting down one or more links and opening one or more links, the responder can accept or reject the TID-to-link mapping scheme;
[0181] In addition, for the above-mentioned methods 1 to 3, if the TID-to-link mapping indication includes shutting down one or more links, the requester may optionally indicate whether the shutting down operation is mandatory, that is, whether the responder is required to shut down the link.
[0182] Alternatively, corresponding to the above-mentioned method 3, for TID-to-link mapping negotiation, if the TID-to-link mapping indication includes both shutting down one or more links and opening one or more links, the requester may optionally indicate whether the shutdown operation is mandatory, that is, whether the responder is required to shut down the link.
[0183] According to another service indication method provided by an embodiment of the present application, a multi-link transmitting end device includes link indication information and service quality information of the link in a service quality measurement report, where the link indication information is used to indicate multiple links carrying the service, and the service quality information of the link includes the number of media access control service data units lost on each link in the multiple links carrying the service, thereby enabling the opposite end to accurately determine the service quality of each link in the multiple links based on the service quality measurement report, thereby improving the reliability of service transmission.
[0184] FIG10 is a flow chart of another service indication method provided in an embodiment of the present application. The method may include the following steps:
[0185] S301. The multi-link transmitting end device generates service quality requirement information, where the service quality requirement information includes packet loss rate indication information.
[0186] By carrying / transmitting services over multiple links, service packet delay can be reduced. In this embodiment, the multi-link transmitting end device generates service quality requirement information for the service, which is carried on multiple links. The specific implementation of generating service quality requirement information can be referred to step S101 of the embodiment shown in Figure 4.
[0187] S302. The multi-link transmitting end device sends service quality requirement information to the multi-link receiving end device.
[0188] The multi-link transmitting end device sends the service quality requirement information to the multi-link receiving end device through any link.
[0189] S303. The multi-link receiving end device receives the service quality requirement information and determines the service quality requirement based on the service quality requirement information.
[0190] This embodiment differs from the previous embodiment in that, in order to better meet the service quality requirements of low-latency services, after the multi-link transmitting device sends the service quality requirement information, the multi-link transmitting device can further obtain the service quality of each link and send a service quality measurement report to the multi-link receiving device, so that the multi-link receiving device can understand the service quality of each link.
[0191] S304. The multi-link transmitting end device generates a service quality measurement report.
[0192] The service quality measurement report includes link indication information and service quality information of the link, wherein the link indication information is used to indicate multiple links carrying the service, and the service quality information of the link includes the number of media access control service data units lost on each link in the multiple links carrying the service.
[0193] For the specific implementation of this step, reference may be made to step S201 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 .
[0194] S305. The multi-link transmitting end device sends a service quality measurement report to the multi-link receiving end device.
[0195] For the specific implementation of this step, reference may be made to step S202 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 .
[0196] S306. The multi-link receiving end device receives the service quality measurement report and determines the service quality of each link in the multiple links carrying the service based on the service quality measurement report.
[0197] For the specific implementation of this step, reference may be made to step S203 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 7 .
[0198] Furthermore, after determining the service quality of each of the multiple links carrying the service, the multi-link receiving device can take corresponding actions for links whose service quality is lower than the service quality requirement of the low-latency service, to further improve the service quality of the low-latency service carried on these links.
[0199] According to a service indication method provided by an embodiment of the present application, a multi-link transmitting end device generates service quality requirement information, which includes packet loss rate indication information, and the multi-link transmitting end device sends the service quality requirement information to the multi-link receiving end device, so that the multi-link receiving end device can decide whether to agree to the establishment of the low-latency service based on the service quality requirement information. If the establishment of the low-latency service is agreed, it is necessary to minimize the packet loss rate while meeting the latency requirement; and the multi-link transmitting end device includes link indication information and link service quality information in the service quality measurement report, the link indication information is used to indicate multiple links carrying the service, and the link service quality information includes the number of media access control service data units lost on each link in the multiple links carrying the service, so that the other end can accurately determine the service quality of each link in the multiple links based on the service quality measurement report.
[0200] FIG11 is a flow chart of a service indication method provided in an embodiment of the present application. The method may include the following steps:
[0201] S401. A multi-link transmitting end device sends a measurement request to a multi-link receiving end device. Correspondingly, the multi-link receiving end device receives the measurement request. The measurement request includes link indication information requested for measurement.
[0202] Currently, many types of radio measurement requests are defined, such as channel load measurement, clear channel assessment (CCA) measurement, etc. That is, the radio measurement request is used to request channel load measurement or clear channel assessment, etc.
[0203] In a multi-link scenario, one approach is to perform a wireless measurement request / response frame exchange for each link to measure each link. However, this approach has a high signaling overhead.
[0204] In this embodiment, the measurement request carries indication information of the link requested for measurement. The link indication information is used to indicate the link requested for measurement.
[0205] Specifically, a subelement is carried in a measurement request element, and the subelement includes indication information of the link requested for measurement.
[0206] As shown in Figure 12, the measurement request element includes an element identifier (element ID), an element length (element length) and measurement request information (measurement request information). In this embodiment, the measurement request element also includes a subelement. The subelement specifically includes a subelement identifier (subelement ID), a subelement length (subelement length), a link ID list (link ID list) for which measurement is requested, or a link bitmap (link bitmap) for which measurement is requested. The link ID list for which measurement is requested includes the identifiers of all links for which measurement is requested. If N bits in the link bitmap are set to "1" (this value is only an example, and it can also be set to "0" to express the same meaning), it means that the corresponding links must execute the measurement request.
[0207] S402. The multi-link receiving end device sends a measurement response to the multi-link transmitting end device. Correspondingly, the multi-link transmitting end device receives the measurement response. The measurement response includes measurement report information of the link indicated by the link indication information.
[0208] After receiving the measurement request, the multi-link receiving device performs corresponding measurements on the links indicated in the link indication information. For example, if the list of link identifiers for which measurement is requested includes link1, link2, and link5, and the measurement type is channel load measurement, the multi-link receiving device measures the channel loads of link1, link2, and link5, and sends a measurement response to the multi-link transmitting device. The measurement response includes the channel load measurement results for link1, link2, and link5.
[0209] Alternatively, after receiving the measurement request, the multi-link receiving device determines the links for which measurement is requested based on the link identifiers and link bitmaps of the multi-links, and performs corresponding types of measurements on these links. For example, if the multi-links include links 1 to 5, the link bitmap is "11001," and the measurement type is channel load measurement, the multi-link receiving device determines to measure the channel loads of links 1, 2, and 5, and sends a measurement response to the multi-link transmitting device. The measurement response includes the channel load measurement results for links 1, 2, and 5.
[0210] FIG13 is a schematic diagram of the format of a measurement response element. The measurement response element includes an element identifier, an element length, and measurement report information. If there are N links requesting measurement, there are N measurement response elements.
[0211] The transmit stream / category request / report defined in the current protocol can be used in combination with the newly defined indication rules to implement QoS measurement for a stream classification service identifier (SCSID).
[0212] In one example, the AP or AP MLD sends a spectrum measurement request frame or a radio measurement request frame to request the STA or Non-AP MLD to perform transmit stream / category measurement.
[0213] FIG14 is a schematic diagram of the frame format of a spectrum measurement request frame, including:
[0214] Category, occupies 1 byte;
[0215] Spectrum management action, 1 byte;
[0216] Dialog token, 1 byte;
[0217] Measurement request element, whose bytes are variable.
[0218] The format of the measurement request element is shown in Figure 15 and includes:
[0219] Element identifier, occupies 1 byte;
[0220] Element length, 1 byte;
[0221] Measurement token, 1 byte;
[0222] Measurement request mode (measurement request mode), occupies 1 byte;
[0223] Measurement type (measurement type), 1 byte;
[0224] Measurement request (measurement request), its bytes are variable.
[0225] The measurement type is set to the index number corresponding to the transmit stream / category measurement. When the measurement type is set to the index number corresponding to the transmit stream / category measurement, the format of the measurement request is shown in Figure 16, including:
[0226] Randomization interval (randomization interval), occupies 2 bytes;
[0227] Measurement duration, 2 bytes;
[0228] Peer STA address, 6 bytes;
[0229] Traffic identifier (TID), occupies 1 byte;
[0230] Bin 0 range (Bin 0range), occupies 1 byte;
[0231] Optional subelements, whose bytes can vary.
[0232] Among them, the format of the flow identification field is shown in Figure 17. When B0 is 1, it means that the traffic stream corresponding to a certain SCSID is being measured, and the value of SCSID will be carried in the flow identification field; if B0 is 0, it means that the traffic stream or traffic category corresponding to a certain TID is being measured.
[0233] When a STA or non-AP MLD receives the spectrum measurement request frame based on the transmitted flow / class measurement, it performs the corresponding type of measurement on the service flow corresponding to a certain SCSID, or the service flow or service class corresponding to a certain TID. The STA or non-AP MLD sends a spectrum measurement response frame to the AP or AP MLD. The format of the frame is shown in Figure 18 and includes:
[0234] Category, occupies 1 byte;
[0235] Spectrum management actions, 1 byte;
[0236] Dialogue token, 1 byte;
[0237] Measurement report elements, which can have a variable number of bytes.
[0238] The format of the measurement report element is shown in Figure 19, including:
[0239] Element identifier, occupies 1 byte;
[0240] Element length, 1 byte;
[0241] Measurement token, occupies 1 byte;
[0242] Measurement report mode (1 octet), including late, incapable, rejected, and reserved bits, which occupy 1, 1, 1, and 5 bits respectively;
[0243] Measurement type, occupies 1 byte;
[0244] Measurement report, the number of bytes is variable.
[0245] When the measurement type is set to send the index number corresponding to the flow / category measurement, the format of the measurement report is shown in Figure 20, including:
[0246] Actual measurement start time, measurement duration, peer STA address, TID, reporting reason, transmitted MSDU count, MSDU discarded count, MSDU failed count, MSDU multiple retry count, QoS CF-Polls lost count, average transmit delay, Bin0 range, Bin0, Bin1, Bin2, Bin3, Bin4, Bin5 and optional sub-elements.
[0247] When B0 of the TID field is 1, it means that the service flow corresponding to a certain SCSID is being measured, and the value of SCSID will be carried in the flow identification field; if B0 is 0, it means that the service flow or service category corresponding to a certain TID is being measured.
[0248] Therefore, by redefining the TID field in the transmit stream / category measurement request / report, the existing transmit stream / category measurement request / report can be reused to measure the service flow of a certain SCSID.
[0249] In yet another example, the AP or AP MLD sends a spectrum measurement request frame or a radio measurement request frame to request the STA or Non-AP MLD to perform transmit stream / category measurement.
[0250] The frame format of the spectrum measurement request frame is shown in FIG14 .
[0251] The format of the measurement request element is shown in Figure 15.
[0252] The measurement type is set to the index number corresponding to the transmit stream / category measurement. When the measurement type is set to the index number corresponding to the transmit stream / category measurement, the format of the measurement request is shown in Figure 16.
[0253] For the optional sub-elements in the measurement request, when the optional sub-elements include a triggered reporting sub-element, the format of the triggered reporting sub-element is shown in FIG21 and includes:
[0254] Subelement identifier (subelement identifier), 1 byte;
[0255] Sub-element length, 1 byte;
[0256] Trigger conditions (trigger conditions), 1 byte;
[0257] Average error threshold (average error threshold), occupies 1 byte;
[0258] Consecutive error threshold (1 byte);
[0259] Delay threshold, occupies 1 byte and includes the delayed MSDU range and delayed MSDU count;
[0260] Measurement count, 1 byte;
[0261] Trigger timeout, occupies 1 byte.
[0262] The triggering conditions include:
[0263] Average (average), occupies 1 bit;
[0264] Consecutive, occupies 1 bit;
[0265] Delay, occupies 1 bit;
[0266] Packet delivery ratio (PDR), occupies 1 bit;
[0267] Reserved bit, occupies 4 bits.
[0268] That is, for the triggered report sub-element, PDR is added to the trigger condition field to indicate a request for a PDR-based triggered report.
[0269] When the triggered reporting subelement is carried in the optional subelement and the traffic identifier field carries SCSID (that is, the B0 bit of the traffic identifier field is set to 1), if the PDR bit in the trigger condition is set to 1, then all fields in the triggered reporting subelement except the trigger conditions field, trigger timeout field and MSDU count field are reserved fields.
[0270] When a STA or non-AP MLD receives the spectrum measurement request frame for a flow / class measurement, it performs the corresponding measurement on the service flow corresponding to a SCSI ID, or the service flow or service class corresponding to a TID. The STA or non-AP MLD then sends a spectrum measurement response frame to the AP or AP MLD. The format of the frame is shown in Figure 18.
[0271] The format of the measurement report element is shown in Figure 19.
[0272] When the measurement type is set to send the index number corresponding to the flow / category measurement, the format of the measurement report is shown in Figure 22, including:
[0273] Actual measurement start time, measurement duration, peer STA address, TID, reporting reason, transmitted MSDU count, MSDU discarded count, MSDU failed count, MSDU multiple retry count, QoS CF-Polls lost count or MSDU delivery count, average transmit delay, Bin0 range, Bin0, Bin1, Bin2, Bin3, Bin4, Bin5 and optional sub-elements.
[0274] The report reason field includes the following fields: average trigger, consecutive trigger, delay trigger, PDR trigger, and reserved field. The PDR trigger field occupies one reserved bit and is used to indicate that the transmission flow / category measurement report was triggered because the PDR was less than the target value.
[0275] When the Stream Identifier field carries the SCSID field, the Quality of Service Contention-Free Polling Lost Count field can be used to carry the number of transmitted MSDUs (MSDU delivery count), which indicates the number of MSDUs successfully transmitted by the sender within the required delay bound. The delay bound is carried in the corresponding TSPEC element.
[0276] In addition, when the station side is non-AP MLD, a newly defined multi-link measurement report subelement can be carried in the sent flow / category measurement report to carry the relevant per-link information of the service being measured. The format of the newly defined multi-link measurement report subelement is shown in Figure 23, including:
[0277] Sub-element identifier;
[0278] Child element length;
[0279] Link bitmap, used to indicate on which links the corresponding service can be transmitted;
[0280] Transmitted MSDU / MPDU count list, which indicates the number of MSDUs / MPDUs transmitted for the service on each link carrying the service.
[0281] The MSDU / MPDU lost count list is used to indicate the number of MSDUs / MPDUs lost for the service on each link carrying the service, that is, no ACK is received or an ACK is received but reception fails.
[0282] Therefore, by redefining the TID field in the transmit stream / category measurement request / report, the existing transmit stream / category measurement request / report can be reused to measure the service flow of a certain SCSID.
[0283] According to a service indication method provided in an embodiment of the present application, a multi-link transmitting device indicates the link for which measurement is requested by carrying link indication information for measurement requested in a wireless measurement request. Thus, a multi-link receiving device can measure the link for which measurement is requested and report a measurement report based on the link indication information, thereby avoiding the interaction of a measurement request / measurement response frame for each link in the multi-link, saving signaling overhead and improving measurement efficiency.

[0303] Those skilled in the art will understand that all or part of the steps of implementing the above-mentioned method embodiment can be completed by hardware related to program instructions, and the aforementioned program instructions can be stored in a computer-readable storage medium. When the program instructions are executed, the steps of the above-mentioned method embodiment are executed; and the aforementioned storage medium includes: U disk, mobile hard disk, ROM, RAM, disk or optical disk, etc. Various media that can store program codes.
[0304] On the one hand, an embodiment of the present application also provides a readable storage medium, which stores computer execution instructions. When a device (which can be a single-chip microcomputer, chip, controller, etc.) or a processor executes the steps in the business indication method provided in the present application.
[0305] On the one hand, an embodiment of the present application also provides a computer program product, which includes computer execution instructions, and the computer execution instructions are stored in a computer-readable storage medium; at least one processor of the device can read the computer execution instructions from the computer-readable storage medium, and at least one processor executes the computer execution instructions so that the device executes the steps in the business indication method provided in the present application.
[0306] A client (e.g., a STA) can send a stream classification service (SCS) request frame to a server (e.g., an AP). This SCS request frame is used to request the addition of an application-layer low-latency service to the associated AP. The server sends an acknowledgment (ACK) to the client and then an SCS response frame. This SCS response frame indicates receipt of the SCS request frame and indicates the success or failure of adding the low-latency service.
[0307] FIG26 shows a schematic diagram of the format of an SCS request frame. The SCS request frame includes the following fields:
[0308] Category: used to indicate the category to which the request frame belongs;
[0309] Robust action, which indicates which frame belongs to this category;
[0310] dialog token;
[0311] SCS descriptor list: contains one or more SCS descriptors.
[0312] FIG27 shows a schematic diagram of the format of an SCS descriptor. The SCS descriptor includes the following fields or elements:
[0313] Element ID;
[0314] length;
[0315] The stream classification service identifier (SCSID) consists of 1 byte and is used to indicate the identifier assigned to the SCS stream. In order to reuse the transmit stream / category request / report in the existing protocol, when allocating the SCSID, the EHT STA or non-AP MLD always sets the B0 bit in the TID field shown in Figure 17 to 1 to indicate that the field contains the SCSID (occupying bits B0 to B7); if the B0 bit in the TID field is 0, it is used to indicate that bits B3 to B7 in the field contain the TID. Thus, different indications are achieved by multiplexing the TID field.
[0316] Request type, consisting of 1 byte, is used to indicate the type of request, which can be any of request to add (add), request to remove (remove), and request to change (change);
[0317] The intra-access category priority element is optional.
[0318] The flow classification element (TCLAS element) is optional and is used to indicate how to identify the SCS flow, which carries the criteria for determining the SCS flow;
[0319] The flow allocation processing element (TCLAS processing element) is optional and is used to indicate how to process multiple flow classification elements when there are multiple flow classification elements;
[0320] A stream specification element (TSPEC element) or a newly defined element (such as a TSPEC-lite element) is used to indicate information such as QoS parameters of the corresponding SCS stream;
[0321] Optional sub-elements may also be included.
[0322] As shown in FIG27 , the priority element within the access category specifically includes the following fields:
[0323] User priority (user priority), including 3 bits, is used to indicate the priority of the user;
[0324] Alternate queue: 1 bit, used to indicate whether to create a new alternate queue for the SCS flow;
[0325] Drop eligibility, including 1 bit, is used to indicate whether the data packets of the SCS flow can be dropped when there are insufficient resources;
[0326] Reserved field.
[0327] FIG28 is a schematic diagram showing the format of an SCS response frame. The SCS response frame includes the following fields:
[0328] Category: used to indicate the category to which the response frame belongs;
[0329] Robust action, which indicates which frame belongs to this category;
[0330] The dialog token can be consistent with the dialog token in the corresponding SCS request frame;
[0331] SCS status list: This field contains one or more SCS status groups and includes the following two subfields:
[0332] SCS ID, used to indicate the identifier of the SCS;
[0333] Status code, used to indicate whether the requested SCS ID is accepted.
[0334] However, for multi-link scenarios, after adding the above-mentioned low-latency service, the AP can carry the above-mentioned low-latency service through multiple links, but there is no relevant solution that allows the AP to obtain the service quality of each link carrying the low-latency service of the STA.
[0335] In view of this, an embodiment of the present application provides another service indication method, the process of which is the same as that of Figure 7. The content of the service quality measurement report is also basically the same as that of the embodiment shown in Figure 7. The difference is that in the embodiment shown in Figure 7, the service quality measurement report includes a communication identifier bit map, while in this embodiment, the service quality measurement report includes an SCS ID. Based on the SCS ID carried in the received service quality measurement report, the AP can obtain the service quality of the low-latency service corresponding to the SCS ID on each link. The specific format of the service quality measurement report is shown in Figures 29 and 30.
[0336] According to another service indication method provided by an embodiment of the present application, a multi-link transmitting end device includes link indication information and service quality information of the link in a service quality measurement report, where the link indication information is used to indicate multiple links carrying low-latency services, and the service quality information of the link includes the number of media access control service data units lost on each link in the multiple links carrying low-latency services, so that the opposite end can accurately determine the service quality of each link in the multiple links based on the service quality measurement report, thereby improving the reliability of service transmission.
[0337] Those skilled in the art will clearly understand that, for the convenience and brevity of description, the specific working processes of the systems, devices and units described above can refer to the corresponding processes in the aforementioned method embodiments and will not be repeated here.
[0338] In the several embodiments provided in this application, it should be understood that the disclosed systems, devices, and methods can be implemented in other ways. For example, the division of the units is only a logical function division, and there may be other division methods in actual implementation. For example, multiple units or components can be combined or integrated into another system, or some features can be ignored or not executed. The mutual coupling, direct coupling, or communication connection shown or discussed can be through some interface, indirect coupling or communication connection of devices or units, and can be electrical, mechanical or other forms.

Some or all of these units may be selected to achieve the purpose of this embodiment according to actual needs.
[0340] In the above embodiments, all or part of the embodiments may be implemented by software, hardware, firmware, or any combination thereof. When implemented using software, all or part of the embodiments may be implemented in the form of a computer program product. The computer program product includes one or more computer instructions. The computer instructions may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium or transmitted via the computer-readable storage medium. The computer instructions may be transmitted from one website, computer, server, or data center to another website, computer, server, or data center via a wired (e.g., coaxial cable, optical fiber, digital subscriber line (DSL)) or wireless (e.g., infrared, wireless, microwave, etc.) method. The computer-readable storage medium may be any available medium that a computer can access or a data storage device such as a server or data center that includes one or more available media integrated therein. The available medium may be a read-only memory (ROM), a random access memory (RAM), a magnetic medium such as a floppy disk, a hard disk, a tape, a magnetic disk, or an optical medium such as a digital versatile disc (DVD), or a semiconductor medium such as a solid state disk (SSD).
