Surface treatment system for coiled materials using cold plasma dielectric barrier discharge technology.

Abstract

The invention relates to a system for surface treatment of coiled materials using dielectric barrier cold plasma technology. The system comprises: an input feeding system, a top surface treatment plasma system, a bottom surface treatment plasma system, an output material collection system, and a monitoring and control system. Two plasma systems are arranged in series in opposite directions, allowing for the treatment of both sides of the material. The monitoring and control system allows for independent control of each plasma system and automatically sets operating parameters according to material type, width, thickness, transport speed, and treatment objective. The system can be integrated into automated packaging, printing, or spray coating lines. (Published drawing - Figure 1)
