Abstract

The basic invention relates to a holographic substrate for security and similar purposes comprising at least two polymer films laminated together by at least one adhesive layer, wherein the substrate includes a diffraction-forming microstructure made up of the adjacent adhesive layer of the polymer film, specifically made up of a UV-cured coating applied to at least part of the aforementioned surface. The resulting hologram is located in the middle of the substrate structure, thereby giving the substrate a simpler overall structure, specifically fewer layers.
