Abstract
The invention relates to a device for dissolving and supplying minerals to aquaculture ponds. A portion of the pond water passes through a dissolving chamber containing a basket of solid minerals to create a concentrated stream, which is then stabilized in a saturation chamber. A bypass stream is mixed with the saturated stream in the dilution chamber. A sensor assembly measures pH, conductivity, and optionally hardness, alkalinity, or turbidity. A valve after the dilution chamber defaults to returning water to the pond and only opens the return path when the output parameters are within absolute limits, deviation limits from the input water, and stabilize within a preset time. The dissolving chamber has a backwashing line to prevent passivation of the mineral surface. The device prevents solid minerals or concentrated solution from coming into direct contact with the pond and creates a safety fault mode.
