Abstract

The invention is in the field of biopharmaceuticals and relates to recombinant antitumor viruses, methods of modification, and use of such viruses. The invention proposes a recombinant alphavirus supplied with an exogenous protein insert, wherein the exogenous protein insert is located between the nsp3 and nsp4 proteins, between the capsid and E3 proteins, between the E2 and 6K proteins, or between the 6K and E1 proteins of the alphavirus. The invention proposes a novel approach to modifying antitumor viruses and provides additional options for antitumor-related therapies. Specifically, the invention proposes a nucleic acid molecule, a host cell, a vector, an antitumor agent containing them, a pharmaceutical composition of the recombinant alphavirus, and a method for generating the recombinant alphavirus.
