EXTRACTION PROCESS OF ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANTI-ULCER ACTIVE COMPOUNDS FROM MURDANNIA NUDIFLORA (L.) BRENAN

Abstract

This invention describes a process for extracting a mixture of active compounds with anti-ulcer effects from the plant *Murdattnia nudifira* (L.) Brenan. The process, according to the invention, uses a selective extraction technique that allows the extraction of 11 active compounds from the ethyl acetate fraction with potential for developing anti-ulcer drugs, including hexadecanoic acid, (9Z,12Z)-octadeca-9Z2-diene, indol-3-carboxaldehyde, quercetin, ruin, 5-(2Z-hydroxyethyl)-4-methoxy-6-methyl-α-pyrone, α-giallocatechin 3-α-gallate, β-dihydroxy-α-α-methoxyα-volavone, and indol-3-carboxylic acid and β-emulsion. The invention also relates to a mixture of active substances with anti-ulcer effects obtained from a process according to the invention, which is effective in combating gastric ulcers and has the potential to be developed into a pharmaceutical treatment for gastric ulcers.
